The Oasis is Officially Open!⛳

A new chapter at the Club begins! We are thrilled to officially welcome members to our brand-new Oasis quarter house.

It has been incredible to watch this project come to life, and we couldn't be more excited to see it become a new gathering place for members throughout the golf season.

Club President Lisa Moraitis and Past President Andrew Bousfield had the honour of kicking things off by ordering the very first drinks—a memorable moment marking the opening of this exciting new space.

Here's to great golf, great company, and many unforgettable moments at the Oasis. We can't wait to enjoy the rest of the season with you!

Westmount Golf & Country Club is pleased to recognize Cathy Hurd with an Honorary Membership.

As the highest distinction the Club can bestow, Honorary Membership is reserved for those whose contributions are both exceptional and enduring. Cathy’s impact on Westmount spans more than four decades of active involvement in golf, curling, bridge, Club events, and volunteer initiatives.

Cathy’s legacy is defined by her leadership. As the first woman elected to the Board of Directors, and later the Club’s first woman President in 1995, she helped shape a more inclusive and progressive path for Westmount.

Her thoughtful leadership and commitment to the Club opened the door for future generations of women to participate fully in its governance and culture.

This recognition reflects Cathy’s lasting contributions and the meaningful role she has played in shaping the Westmount community.

Please join us in celebrating Cathy.
