2026 Banner Raised at the now historic Queensmount Arena 🏆🐺

Dominating season by the Wolves. Second most successful season with a 1 goal loss in week 1.

To think when I took this photo before our very first game 8 years ago that we'd fill each banner spot.

THE WOLVES ARE YOUR SNELL CUP CHAMPIONS! 🐺🏆
What an unbelievable end to the SWOLL season! Championship Saturday brought the heat, the grit, and a whole lot of goals. Here’s how it all went down:
🥇 The Snell Cup: Wolves 13, Muskies 4
The #1 seed Wolves cemented their near perfect season with a historic performance! The Muskies fought with everything they had despite missing their players, but the Wolves' roster depth was just too much. Rushton, Haan, and Forsythe all dropped 4-point games, and Josh Doiron was an absolute brick wall in net. This Wolves squad goes down as the second most dominant team in SWOLL history! 👑🥍
🥉 The Mega Bowl: Bucks 11, Polars 5
Huge shoutout to the Bucks for grinding out the 3rd place victory! Playing with a short bench, they left it all on the floor. Matt Waters put the squad on his back with a massive 6-point afternoon! 🦌🔥 The Polars showed incredible heart—battling fiercely to the final buzzer with an amazing turnout. Way to represent! 🐻‍❄️💪
🙏 THANK YOU!
A massive thank you to all our players, fans, and sponsors for making this SWOLL season unforgettable. Have a safe and happy lacrosse summer! Rest up those cross-check bruises, because we want to see all of you back on the floor next year. ❄️

SWOLL Semi-Finals Recap:
What a night of playoff lacrosse! The top seeds took care of business, but neither team had an easy path to Championship Saturday.

Here is how the road to the Snell Cup unfolded.

Game 1: (1) Wolves 13 vs. (4) Polars 9
The Wolves proved exactly why they are the undisputed number one seed. Earning first place in the regular season comes with perks, and the Wolves capitalized immediately. They moved the ball with precision and scored quickly on both of their earned power plays to set the tone early.

The Polars, however, refused to go quietly. Carter Teneycke (4 Goals, 1 Assist) did absolutely everything in his power to keep his squad in it, but the Wolves' defense was draped all over him from the opening faceoff. Polars Captain Nathan Joyes played with incredible heart, trying to will his team to a comeback victory, but the Wolves were simply too deep, too fast, and too dominant all over the floor.

The Wolves' offense functioned like a well-oiled machine, paced by Kyle Rushton's 5 points and 4-goal performances from both Jack Fitzpatrick and Richard Haan.

Game 2: (2) Muskies 9 vs. (3) Bucks 7
If Game 1 was a showcase of offensive depth, Game 2 was an absolute war of attrition. This matchup was a gritty, back-and-forth battle the entire way, defined by heavily physical, choppy play and a steady parade to the penalty box.

Neither team could build a comfortable lead in this tight-checking affair. Sean Campbell was a massive bright spot for the Bucks, netting 4 goals and consistently finding open space. But in the end, the Muskies' star power shone brightest when the game was on the line. Dylan Gillespie (4 Goals, 1 Assist) and Shane Halliwell (2 Goals, 2 Assists) found the seams late in the third period, allowing the Muskies to pull ahead just in the nick of time to secure the hard-fought victory.

🏆 Championship Saturday is Set! (February 28th)

Welcome to the playoffs! The regular season is in the rearview mirror, and the stakes couldn't be higher. We have two incredible Semi-Final matchups on deck. One features a classic David vs. Goliath storyline, while the other is a heavyweight rubber match between two teams that genuinely don't like each other.

Let's dive into the Vegas-style betting lines and see how the oddsmakers are breaking down the action.

Game 1: (1) Wolves vs. (4) Polars
The Vegas Lines 💰

The Spread: Wolves (-4.5)

Moneyline: Wolves -350 | Polars +275

Over/Under: 21.5 Goals

The Bookmaker's Logic 🧠

The Matchup: The Wolves are the undisputed Kings of the regular season. They are an offensive juggernaut, coming off a 17-12 victory over the second-place Muskies. The Polars, on the other hand, are the Cinderella story of Week 9. They shocked the Bucks 11-8 to build some serious momentum heading into the playoffs.

The Wolves Factor: Depth, depth, and more depth. The Wolves don't rely on just one guy. If you shut down Richard Haan, Chase Forsythe, Kent Radbourne (who dropped 5 goals and 2 assists last week) or Kyle Rushton (who had a 4-assist night) others will step up. The Wolves have 7 players in the top 15 scorers this year. Oddsmakers set lines by factoring in team strength and historical performance; the Wolves' consistent dominance makes them massive favorites.

The Polars Factor: Can lightning strike twice? The Polars' hopes rest squarely on the shoulders of Carter Teneycke. He put up an unbelievable 10 points (8 goals, 2 assists) last week. But asking him to do that against the Wolves' defense—and Goalie Josh Doiron—is a tall order.

The Spread & Total: In lacrosse betting, point spreads are used to level the playing field between mismatched teams. A 4.5-goal spread is huge for a playoff game, but the Wolves have been clearing lines like this all season. The Over/Under is set at a moderate 21.5, respecting the Wolves' firepower but questioning if the Polars can contribute enough to push it over.

Game 2: (2) Muskies vs. (3) Bucks
The Vegas Lines 💰

The Spread: Muskies (-1.5)

Moneyline: Muskies -135 | Bucks +115

Over/Under: 22.5 Goals

The Bookmaker's Logic 🧠

The Matchup: This is the game everyone is circling. These two teams split their regular-season meetings in dramatic fashion. The Muskies took the first one, but the Bucks stunned them with a 12-9 upset back in Week 8.

The Muskies Factor: They have the star power. Shane Halliwell is a walking highlight reel, and Dylan Gillespie (who had 4 goals last week) provides the perfect secondary scoring punch. They score in bunches, but their defense just gave up 17 goals to the Wolves. They need to tighten up if they want to advance.

The Bucks Factor: The Bucks are the ultimate wild card. They looked like world-beaters when they took down the Muskies, and have given the Wolves their only loss of the season back in week 1, BUT they then laid an egg against the last-place Polars in Week 9. They absolutely must stay out of the penalty box against the Muskies' lethal power play. The Campbell brothers need to come out with a big week with support from Matt Waters, Justin Cruz and Aaron Jackson.

The Spread & Total: Oddsmakers engineer these lines to attract equal betting action on both sides. Setting the Muskies as slight -1.5 favorites reflects their higher seed and overall offensive talent, but acknowledges the Bucks' recent head-to-head victory. The 22.5 Total anticipates a fast-paced, back-and-forth shootout.

The final week of the regular season did not disappoint! Both games followed a remarkably similar script: early blowouts followed by desperate, gritty 3rd-period pushes. With the playoff brackets now officially set, let's look at how the regular season wrapped up.

Game 1: Polars 11, Bucks 8
The Polars came into this game playing for nothing but pride, but they left it all on the floor. After struggling for weeks, their offense finally exploded in the first two periods, building a massive lead that left the Bucks shell-shocked.

The story of the night was Carter Teneycke, who put on an absolute clinic. He factored into 10 of his team's 11 goals, finishing with an unbelievable 8 goals and 2 assists.

The Bucks, who came in riding the high of last week's massive upset, found themselves completely flat-footed early on. They finally woke up in the 3rd period, mounting a furious comeback attempt led by Brendan Campbell (4G, 2A). However, the deficit was simply too large to overcome, and the Polars held on to end their season on a high note.

Game2: Wolves 17, Muskies 12

A potential Championship preview turned into a track meet! The Wolves' offense was an unstoppable force in the first two periods, building a commanding lead that looked like it might turn into a laugher.

Kent Radbourne (4G, 3A) and Kyle Rushton (3G, 4A) orchestrated the attack perfectly, dismantling the Muskies' defense early. Dylan Gillespie (4G, 2A) tried to keep the Fish in it, but the Wolves simply had too many weapons.

Facing a massive deficit, the Muskies refused to roll over. They mounted a heavy 3rd-period push to close the gap, but the early damage was done.

Week 8 reminded us why we play the games! We saw the biggest upset of the season in the opener, followed by a dominant display from the league's undisputed top dog.

Game 1: Bucks 12 vs. Muskies 9

The oddsmakers (and just about everyone else) wrote the Bucks off after their short-bench struggle last week. Entering as massive +4.5 underdogs against the potent Muskies offense, the Bucks flipped the script entirely.

Led by a balanced attack, the Bucks stunned the fish with a 12-goal performance. Brendan Campbell (3 Goals, 2 Assists) and Matt Waters (2 Goals, 3 Assists) paced the offense, while Sean Campbell added 4 points.

The Muskies had their moments—Koichi Nakamura was a playmaker supreme with 4 assists, and Shane Halliwell and Dylan Gillespie each netted hat tricks—but they couldn't claw back the deficit. The "Three-Headed Monster" was tamed, and the Bucks proved they can beat anyone when they show up with a full squad.

💰 Betting Recap:
The Pick: Muskies -4.5
Verdict: The Bucks didn't just cover the +4.5 spread; they won outright. A massive payout for anyone brave enough to take the Bucks Moneyline (+210).

Over/Under: 22.5 Goals. UNDER. With 21 total goals, the game stayed just under the high total.

Game 2: Wolves 14 vs. Polars 8

In the nightcap, order was restored. The Wolves (-5.5) continued their absolute tear through the league, dismantling the Polars with another high-octane offensive showing.

Kent Radbourne was the star of the show, putting up a massive 7 points (2 Goals, 5 Assists). Chase Forsythe was the finisher, burying 4 goals, while Jack Fitzpatrick added a hat trick of his own. The Wolves' depth continues to be a nightmare for opposing defenses.

The Polars fought hard, led by an incredible individual effort from Carter Teneycke, who scored 4 goals and added 2 assists to factor into 6 of his team's 8 goals. However, the Polars simply didn't have the secondary scoring to keep pace with the Wolves' machine.

💰 Betting Recap:

The Pick: Wolves -5.5

The Result: Wolves Win 14-8.

Verdict: The Wolves covered the massive spread. Both teams did their part to hit the over.

SWOLL Week 7: Depth Checks & Chippy Finishes

Week 7 was a tough one for the underdogs. Depth—or lack thereof—played a massive role in the opener, while the nightcap saw tensions boil over as the score gap widened. The favorites didn't just win; they dominated.

Game 1: Wolves 17, Bucks 5

The Wolves (-2.5) came into this game looking to keep their hot streak alive, and they were helped by a Bucks roster that was running on fumes. With only 10 runners on the bench, the Bucks faced an uphill battle against the deepest team in the league, and the fatigue showed early.

The Wolves' offense was relentless, putting up a staggering 17 goals. Richard Haan led the charge with a massive 5-goal night, while Chase Forsythe (3G, 2A) and Kyle Rushton (2G, 2A) kept the scoreboard spinning.

But the story wasn't just offense. Wolves netminder Joshua Doiron was spectacular between the pipes. Despite the lopsided score, the Bucks had their chances, but Doiron shut the door time and time again to stifle any hope of a comeback. Brendan Campbell managed a hat trick for the depleted Bucks, but it was a lonely bright spot in a tough outing.

💰 Betting Recap:

The Pick: Wolves -2.5

The Result: Wolves Win 17-5

Over/Under: 19.5 Goals. OVER. We set a high line, and they still cleared it. With 22 total goals, the Over cashed comfortably.

Game 2: Muskies 14, Polars 5

If Game 1 was about fatigue, Game 2 was about firepower and frustration. The Muskies (-3.5) welcomed Shane Halliwell back to the lineup, and the offense didn't miss a beat.

However, the star of the night wasn't Halliwell (though he did have 6 points)—it was Colten Taylor, who exploded for 5 Goals and 3 Assists in an 8-point performance. Dylan Gillespie added a hat trick of his own as the "Muskie Machine" rolled over the Polars.

As the Muskies pulled away, frustrations started to boil over. The game got chippy in the late stages, with stick work getting sloppy and tempers flaring as the Polars tried to send a message before the final buzzer. The Polars' offense struggled to find a rhythm, managing only 5 goals against a stout Muskies defense.

💰 Betting Recap

The Pick: Muskies -3.5

The Result: Muskies Win 14-5 + over

SWOLL Week 6: The Missing Piece & The Gritty Grind
Week 6 gave us two completely different styles of lacrosse. We had a high-scoring track meet in the opener, followed by a defensive trench war to close out the night. Let's break down the action.

Game 1: Wolves vs. Muskies 🐺🦈
Final Score: Wolves 16, Muskies 9
This was billed as the "Heavyweight Championship" of the season, but the fight changed before the opening faceoff. The Muskies took the floor without their leading scorer and MVP candidate, Shane Halliwell, leaving a massive hole in their offense.
The Wolves, smelling blood in the water, wasted no time attacking. They unleashed a balanced offensive assault that the depleted Muskies just couldn't contain. Kyle Rushton (3 Goals, 2 Assists) and Kent Radbourne (3 Goals, 1 Assist) paced the attack, while Richard Haan chipped in with a 4-point night.
To their credit, the Muskies didn't roll over. Dylan Gillespie and Colten Taylor both put up 4 points (2 Goals, 2 Assists each) to try and fill the void, but trading goals with the Wolves is a dangerous game. The Wolves pulled away for a convincing 16-9 victory, proving that their depth is unmatched right now.
💰 Betting Recap:
The Pick: Wolves -1.5
Verdict: The Wolves covered easily.
Over/Under: 23.5 Goals. OVER. Even with the high line, the teams combined for 25 goals. The "Over" train keeps rolling for the Wolves.

Game 2: Bucks vs. Polars 🦌🐻‍❄️
Final Score: Bucks 6, Polars 5
After the fireworks of Game 1, Game 2 turned into a defensive grind. The Polars arrived with a short bench, which usually spells disaster in this league, but they put on one heck of a gritty performance.
Instead of running and gunning, the Polars slowed the game down, dragging the Bucks into a low-scoring dogfight. Eric Snyder (2 Goals) and Carter Teneycke (3 Points) did the heavy lifting for the Polars, keeping them within striking distance all night.
For the Bucks, who have been on the losing end of so many 1-goal games this season, the narrative finally flipped. Matt Waters was the hero, burying a Hat Trick to lead the offense.
💰 Betting Recap:
The Pick: Bucks -1.5 having the Polars cover.

If you thought Week 3 was wild, Week 4 just said "hold my beer." We saw one of the biggest comebacks in league history and a dominant performance that put the rest of the league on notice.

Game 1: Wolves vs. Bucks

Final Score: Wolves 15, Bucks 14

This game was an absolute rollercoaster that left fans (and oddsmakers) breathless. The Bucks came out flying in the first period, absolutely stunning the red-hot Wolves. Chris Haynes and the Campbell brothers were scoring at will, putting up a massive 9-3 lead after the first frame. It looked like the rout was on.

But in the second period, the Wolves flipped the switch. In a stunning display of offense, they exploded for 9 goals in the middle frame to completely erase the deficit and take a 12-11 lead heading into the third. Kent Radbourne was a man possessed, netting 5 goals, while Chase Forsythe played playmaker with 2 goals and 6 assists.

The third period was a nail-biter, but the Wolves held on for the 15-14 victory in the highest-scoring game of the season.

💰 Betting Recap:

The Pick: Wolves -1.5

The Result: Wolves Win 15-14.

Verdict: The Bucks covered the +1.5 spread in heartbreaking fashion.

Over/Under: 18.5 Goals. OVER (Way Over). With 29 goals scored, the "Over" was the safest bet in town.

Game 2: Muskies vs. Polars

Final Score: Muskies 14, Polars 3

The Muskies came into this game as heavy favorites, and they played like it. While the first period was competitive—ending with a slim 3-2 Muskies lead—the "Muskie Machine" woke up in the second and never looked back.

Shane Halliwell continued his MVP-caliber tear, putting up a massive 8 points (4 Goals, 4 Assists). Dylan Gillespie was right there with him, burying 4 goals of his own. The Polars' offense completely dried up after the first period, managing only one more goal the rest of the way as the Muskies' defense locked it down.

💰 Betting Recap:

The Pick: Muskies -2.5

The Result: Muskies Win 14-3.

Verdict: The Muskies covered the spread with ease.

Over/Under: 17.5 Goals. UNDER. In a rare miss for the offense-heavy league, the total ended at 17, missing the Over by just 0.5 goals
