Today, as I help the Eagles Soccer (Football) Club gain new heights, memories of my childhood come rushing back. I remember a time when having a real soccer ball was a distant dream. We couldn’t afford one, so we made our own—from Garbage! cloth, plastic bags, scraps of whatever we could find. It wasn’t just a ball; it was a piece of our hearts stitched together, a symbol of dreams that didn’t need permission to exist.
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT FOOTBALL IS LOYALTY! You can play it anywhere even in war thorn homes of the neighbours like we used to, all you need is PLAYERS and PASSION! even the ball can be crafted!
Those days taught me that passion can’t be stopped by money. The joy we found didn’t come from fancy gear—it came from the fire in our hearts and the thrill of chasing dreams. We played with all we had, not because of what we lacked, but because of what we carried within us.
To the young players of Eagles Soccer Club: don’t ever let money define the limits of your passion. Chase your dreams fiercely, no matter what you have or don’t have. Because the power of your heart 💚 will take you farther than anything money could ever buy. Today’s reminder: passion is unstoppable, and dreams don’t need wealth—they just need heart.
