Intensely Irish offers Irish Dance lessons in the Kitchener-Waterloo Region. Operating out of In.Motion School of the Performing Arts we offer both a recreational and competitive Irish dance program. In addition, all of our lesson students are part of the Intensely Irish Performance Troupe. We perform at various events and venues throughout Kitchener-Waterloo. As our dancers get ready to head back to school, we're thinking about just how many of them we've had the privilege of watching grow up. ☘️

From her very first year-end show with us to her university graduation — both on the same stage.

One of the things we love most about our program is having dancers who stay with us year after year. We get to watch them grow, celebrate their milestones, and cheer them on through so many different stages of their lives.

Here's to another school year, more memories, and getting to watch our dancers grow along the way!

Registration is now open for the upcoming season at Intensely Irish! We offer both recreational and pre-competitive classes for kids, with small class sizes, dedicated instructors, and plenty of opportunities to perform and have fun along the way. 💚

Whether your dancer is brand new to Irish dance or ready to take their dancing a little further, we'd love to have them join our dance family!

A little (or a lot) overdue, but our St. Patrick's Day season deserves a post! ☘️

What a year it was—12 performances, including 6 shows in a single day, and every one of them filled with energy, laughter, and so much fun.

From community performances at the Kitchener Market to lively crowds at Kennedy's, McMullan's, Bobby O'Brien's, and beyond, we loved bringing our dancing to so many different audiences. I was incredibly proud of everyone, from our youngest dancers to our most experienced performers.

Of course, it's always exciting when the choreography comes together and the hard work pays off on stage. But my favourite part of the season is seeing the joy that dance brings—not just to the audience, but to the dancers themselves. Watching friendships grow, seeing dancers support one another, and sharing our love of dance with the community is what makes these performances so special.

Thank you to everyone who cheered, clapped along, and helped make this St. Patrick's Day season one to remember. Already looking forward to next year! ☘️💚

One week to go! 🎭✨☘️

After months of rehearsals, we're almost ready to take the stage for 's Dancing Through the Menu on June 5th at Centre in the Square.

We've been working incredibly hard on our three routines, and these props are just a tiny sneak peek of one of them. You'll have to come to the show though to see what we've been cooking up all year!
