Today, we feature Jack Fowler, one of the bright young talents in Ontario lawn bowls — a player whose journey began almost as soon as he could walk. Jack started bowling at 5 years old, and by age 6, he was already on the podium, finishing 3rd in his first tournament.

Since then, he has become an exciting youth bowler, steadily climbing through Ontario and Canadian ranks.

Corey Briggs — The Next Generation
Corey is the newest chapter in the Briggs lawn bowling lineage — the young startup in a family known for its long-standing presence in the sport. Despite being early in his career, Corey has already competed in two Canadian Championships and is an Atlantic Championship title holder, winning alongside his father Joe. Today, we feature Marco Veilleux, one of the most uniquely accomplished athletes in the Sea to Sea Cup — a competitor who has represented Canada at both the Olympic Games and the Canadian National Lawn Bowls Championships.

Before stepping onto the greens, Marco built an exceptional international career in swimming, representing Canada at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in the men’s 100m breaststroke. His international résumé includes a Pan American Games silver medal (1983) and two Pan Pacific Championship bronzes (1985)
