VOTE!

October 26 is our Municipal Election (mayors, city councillors, school board trustees, regional councillors).

Branches co-directors, Leena, Emma and Leslie all live in Ward 10, and when this municipal election cycle began, we were thrilled to learn that friend of the studio was running for Ward 10 city councillor.

Sam has been the studio’s website developer for years. We also saw him grow into his role as a co-owner of Full Circle Foods, and take on local artistic initiatives, like the creation of the Gaukel Block, a downtown pedestrian-friendly hub for arts & culture.

Sam also shares our values around climate action on a local scale appropriate to our bioregion, advocating for the vulnerable in our community, and building cities that put community and people first. We believe in Sam, and we are proud to say so.

If you’re a Ward 10 resident too, and want to get to know Sam and his platform, you’re invited to a community conversation on our back deck on Wednesday, October 14 from 5:45-6:45pm. You can ask Sam questions, get to know his priorities, and share your own. Comment or email us if you want to join in. There will be snacks ;)
