We wrapped up our kids program for the summer the other week with well deserved promotions, some amazing food, and a slugfest of a nerf battle!!;)
(Coaches May have escalated to water guns!!😂)
A big thanks to the parents, coaches and the kids for an awesome year!!
We are so thankful for all the amazing people that have been with us and are with us now on our journey as a team!
Excited for new folks to come out and join us for the future ahead.
Our foundation has been built with everyone’s efforts … breath by breath, pushup by pushup, punch by punch, sweep by sweep, throw by throw….
To all that have been along for the journey no matter when… thank you!!!👍

Last week we had the privilege of getting a visit from a Canadian Martial Art Pioneer and true BJJ Master Marcus Soares. A 9th Degree Red belt and Original Member of the Carlson Gracie Team.
The adults class was outstanding but it was amazing to see Mestre Soares during the kids class. His energy easily matched the kids and they loved the class!!
I would like to thank my instructor Steve Burgess for sharing the lineage with me, and also I would like to thank you for all you have done for the BJJ community in not just Canada but world wide Mestre Soares!!
