Thank you for attending this year's sold out Wolfe Island Classic 5K/10K & Kids Mile Race Event. It was a tremendously successful day. The ferry delivered all, personal bests were set, medals were hung around necks, new friends were made, and the vibe was positively electric.

The WOLFE ISLAND CLASSIC is SUNDAY JULY 5TH...

Here are some important instructions to follow:

PARK YOUR CAR DOWNTOWN KINGSTON, walk onto the ferry.
The Event is just a 3min walk from the ferry dock on the island.

This year the ferry schedule runs more frequently than last year, BUT this year’s ferry is smaller and less capacity, so it is critically important participants arrive for the earliest ferry possible. Whichever ferry to choose, arrive well before the departure time. There will be lineups to get ON the ferry, Kingston-side.

FERRY DEPARTURES FROM KINGSTON
6AM - the safest. Explore the island. Relax.
7AM - RECOMMENDED. Beat the rush. Get in your warm-up. Quick bib pickup.
8AM - WARNING: this ferry will likely reach capacity. There will be a long lineups.
9AM - TOO LATE for Kids Mile, Walker Start, 10K Start. It will be tight BUT not too late for 5K runners who already have their bibs (Mile). You have to hustle off the ferry and straight to the start-line.

SUNDAY’S EVENT SCHEDULE
7:30AM - Bib, shirt (purchased) and lunch voucher (purchased) pickup:
9:00AM - Kiddie Fun Run Start
9:30AM - Kids 1 Mile Start
9:45am - 5K Walker Start
9:50am - 10K Start
10:00AM - 5K Start
11:15-ish - Awards & door prize giveaways

There is a bag check table. Sorry, no shirts for sale on Race day.

The courses are scenic and impossible to get lost. They are simple OUT-and-back routes. Bring sunscreen, and a hat.

There will be water stations on the course, and water at the finish. There are several local establishments for hydration, refreshments, lunches, and cold treats.
Lite snacks (fruit) will be provided post-race, for runners. Bring a towel and a change of clothes. Wolfe Island is a great place to go for a swim.

EARLY BIB PICKUP NOTICE.
We are handing out bibs at the KRRA Canada Day Limestone Mile, Wednesday morning 9am to 11am.

VENUE CHANGE.
The MILE RACE's location has changed to LCVI high school: 153 Van Order Dr, Kingston, ON K7M 1B9. (No longer at Memorial Centre).
