Having just celebrated its 100th anniversary, the Queen's Women's basketball team is one that has continued to celebrate what is most important in university sport; the student-athlete experience. Since Coach Dave Wilson's hiring as Head Women's Basketball coach, 31 years ago, the Queen's Women's team has experienced a 100% graduation rate while boasting over 50 Academic All-Canadians to go along
with multiple OUA conference All-Stars and Nationally recognized players. The program also employs a full time assistant coach along with a strength and conditioning coach, an in-house athletic therapist and an athlete services coordinator who overseas a free tutoring program, student-athlete mentoring program and a 1st year orientation program featuring educational workshops. As one of Canada's leading universities, with an international reputation for scholarship, research, social purpose and spirit, Queen's strives to embrace every aspect of student life. Our goal is to ensure each student-athlete is provided with the experience necessary to go forward and be prepared for the boardroom, courtroom, hospital, art gallery, laboratory, library or classroom of their choosing.
