$25 for 2 classes
$5 for balance bike
$6 rental bikes (first-come, first-served basis)

Reminders:
💫Bring your USA/Canada BMX license number (makes registration at the track easier)
💫Check that your bike is in good working order
💫Ensure that your plate is firmly affixed to your bike with your number clearly visible (need a plate, see registration)
💫Dress to race- wear a long-sleeved shirt or jersey, pants, closed-toe shoes, a helmet (full face for pedal racers), and gloves (optional, but STRONGLY recommended!

The track is still soft from the rain and with all the hard work our volunteers have put in to make it amazing, we dont want to risk ruining anything before Sunday's UCI Race

We appreciate everyones understanding and cooperation.

The track will remain closed to the public until Saturday night. Please stay off!

The 2026 BMX Provincial Championships are coming to Kingston!

Ontario Cycling, in partnership with Kingston BMX, is excited to bring the 2026 BMX (UCI) Provincial Championships to Kingston on September 13!

Open to riders of all levels, this is your chance to hit the track and be part of one of the biggest BMX events of the Ontario season. Ontario residents with a valid 2026 Ontario Cycling membership or UCI Race Licence competing in championship categories will have the opportunity to race for a Provincial Championship title and winner’s jersey!

We finally were able to run our Back to School Race this past Sunday, after 3 reschedules the week prior (thanks Mother Nature 🙄)

Nonetheless, the weather was great, the turn out was great, awards were cool, and the excitement around the candy guess jar and raffle basket was contagious!

Before our track crew started on track surface work, we managed to get a backwards boxer relay race squeezed in! (Photos and videos in another post)

Thank you to all the riders who joined us Sunday, locally and from out of town ❤️

🍬Congratulations to Austin H. who guessed the closest to the amount of candy in the jar! There were 150 candies, Austin guessed 154. A very very close runner up shout out to Bri K. She guessed 145.

🧺Also Congratulations to Mark H. who was the lucky winner of our back to school raffle basket!

Next up, we prepare for the UCI Provincial Race on Sunday September 13th (please see the post as registration closes tomorrow, Wednesday the 9th), an afternoon local race on the 13th, Thanksgiving race sneaking up (food bank donations) and then Halloween! Watch for our posts for details!

🏆As our 2026 Season is gearing down, its time to start thinking about the riders who made a difference to our track this year, who stood out, who put in the work to be the best of the best!

Every year we recognize a few of our riders, nominated by you, to receive awards in 4 categories.

💖Biggest Heart Award
(This is awarded to the rider/individual who shows genuine kindness towards other riders. Always encouraging riders and bringing a positive uplifting spirit to our club)

🎖Sportsmanship Award
(This is awarded to the individual that demonstrates the best acts of sportsmanship on and off the track win or lose)

💨Speedy from the Gate (1 Male, 1 Female)
(This award is presented to the rider who is always impressing us with their speed out of the gate and gets the "hole shot" to the first corner. They are fun to watch and always courteous to their peers)

🦸‍♂️People's Choice Award
(This award is presented to an individual, nominated by the members of KBMX, who has gone above and beyond in their efforts this year. This individual is not necessarily taking part as a rider, but someone who is there, supporting the track, putting in lots of hours and stands out to you, and you feel they deserve to be recognized)

To nominate a rider:
•USA/Canada BMX license is in good standing AND
•has Kingston BMX (Track #1825) as their designated home track

Only those meeting the criteria will be eligible to submit one (1) nomination for each of the above four (4) 2026 KBMX awards.
