I Love First Peoples Kingston I Love First Peoples aims to break the cycle of poverty in the lives of First Nations children, through education and the motivation to stay in school.

I Love First Peoples is a Canadian registered non-profit organization that works to motivate Indigenous children and youth toward education through celebration events, gift-filled shoeboxes, merit prizes and awards, and programs to empower them. We also give Canadian citizens a means to express their concern in a tangible way. Our message is quite simple: We care! It is our utmost desire to see na

tive communities flourish, and to see First Nations people honored, and their culture restored. It is our hope that Canadians will embrace the gift box and backpack initiative, and that it will lead to more ways to serve native communities. We believe that dialogue leads to understanding, understanding to appreciation, and appreciation to mutual support. In this perspective, our next step will be to provide a mechanism whereby native and non-native children can begin to converse so the next generation will be well ahead of us and free of the barriers that hinder conversation today.
