Is your bike making a strange noise?

We offer a variety of services to Queen's students and the Kingston community that include but are not limited to:

1. We offer a team of knowledgeable volunteers who are all too happy to assist you in figuring out what the problem is! So come and drop your vehicle off for a quick fix and repair. Repairs are priced at $5.00-15.00 per adjustment as needed. Want to stick around to find out why it wa

s making that noise in the first place? If the fix is quick enough, you're welcome to stick around and have one of our dedicated volunteers teach show you the process of how to fix it yourself.


2. Parts and Tools

Need a part for your bike? bikes and boards offers both new and used parts at low and affordable prices! Already have the parts you need or looking for a general tune up? bikes and boards also offers full usage of our tools and grease/liquids for fee of $2.00 for the day. We also offer the option to purchase a full year of tool usage for $10.00! Swing by for a complete list of parts we offer, prices and tools available to use in the shop!

3. Affordable bicycles and longboards

We offer refurbished bicycles that fit within your student budget! Each one of our bikes are rescued and lovingly restored by our dedicated volunteers.

4. Anything bikes or boards related in Kingston! We also act as a central hub for bike/board news and resources! Feel free to come by to find or post about anything cycling and boarding related in Kingston! Some examples of what can be found on our bulletin board:

-sign ups for bike repair seminars
-posters of bikes for sale
-group bike tours around Kingston
-and much much more!

That's right... You've seen it here first! We are dropping the most fire bikes in town. We are selling hybrid, cruiser, road and mountain bikes! "Oh heck yes, I want 12" - everyone, probably.

How did Bikes and Boards come to have all these sweet rides, you may ask? We refurbish reclaimed bikes to give them a second life. The foundation of our shop is the promotion of sustainable methods of transportation. We believe up-cycling is truly the greatest thing since sliced bread. Our bikes are local, eco-friendly and honestly really cool.

Bike availability is on a fist-come, first-serve basis. Prices range between $70-$200. We tune up and perform a safety check before selling the bikes.

Swing by the shop today, we are located in the bunker of the JDUC just east of P&CC. We are open Monday through Friday, 12pm-5pm. We accept cash, credit and debit.
