YMCA of Eastern Ontario The YMCA of Eastern Ontario is a charity that offers fitness, aquatic and childcare programs and facilities.

We serve the community with a wide range of customized programs to help keep everyone of all ages, abilities and backgrounds stay active. The Y is Canada’s largest provider of childcare with trademarked curricula, and offers fitness and other programs including Karate and Total Life Care (specialized programming for individuals with chronic conditions).

On September 25, EFI Engineering & Royal Fire Protection will host their 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Loch March Golf & Country Club, with 100% of proceeds supporting the YMCA of Eastern Ontario’s Y Communities Thrive Campaign.

Get to know YMCA of Eastern Ontario!

This fall, the Y is hosting Fitness Centre Orientation for Youth as a chance for students, teens, and young people to explore our workout spaces!

We’ll guide you through equipment function, techniques, safety, and etiquette so you can use our fitness centres with the confidence to pursue healthy new goals. ☀️

This orientation is FREE to all Y members!

Learning to swim and developing water safety skills can provide a lifetime of wellness benefits and enjoyment!

Registration is now OPEN for swimming lessons of all ages, from “Bobbers” and “Floaters” to Adults 18+.

2026 Fall sessions run from Sept 15 to Dec 13 at our Brockville Y (345 Park St.) and Kingston Y (100 Wright Cres.) locations.

Are you inspired by seeing our lifeguards at work?

Trained in safety, prevention, and emergency response, each YMCA lifeguard has received National Lifeguard certification (Canada’s professional lifeguard standard). 🛟

Fall registration is now OPEN for Lifeguarding and Swim Instruction programs.

The Y’s Advanced Aquatics courses provide you with the training and certification necessary to pursue swim-related employment and volunteer opportunities.

This fall, Brockville Y is hosting a unique 4-session Yoga Meditation Workshop. 🧘

Breathe into restorative relaxation, as your instructor guides you through gentle, slow-paced yoga postures and meditative moments. 🪷

The workshop runs September to December and takes place on the first Saturday morning of each month.

Another great YMCA summer is drawing to a close. 😎

If there’s one thing we’ve observed, it’s this: it takes all kinds of kids to make a day camp, and the experience is different for everyone. At the Y, our community values, celebrates, and integrates these unique personalities.

Some kids crave the spotlight; others are shy.

Some kids are excited to compete in sports and games; others would rather chill out on the sidelines, or colour pictures on the gym floor.

For every camper who eagerly steps in front of our camera, there is another who says, "I just want to to hold your hand and follow you around. Is that OK?"

Spoiler alert: it's always ok. ☀️

Thanks to all our Y campers for another wonderful summer. Shine on!
