Thanks to Woodland Traditional Archers for organizing and hosting another fun family weekend at Elmhurst Outdoors. As always there were some laughs, conversation, new faces, and a fun and interesting 3-D target outdoor course (even with all the branches and obstructions). If you’ve never bow hunted a dinosaur 🦖 or tried your aim at a mosquito 🦟 maybe it’s time to give it a try!! 😄

As many of you have experienced firsthand, there’s so much that goes on in the background of a small business to keep things moving. It can be a lot of hard work. It makes it that much more rewarding and uplifting when people take the time to share their joy of being here. This winter some members of the Saint John Outdoor Enthusiasts joined in on our seniors’ program and Moonlight Snowshoe Hikes. Carol Ann Sonier has sent along some beautiful photos of her visits and some kind words that I’ll share here….. Thanks so much Carol Ann!

Thank you Elmhurst for a wonderful evening … all of my favorite things. … snowshoeing under the moonlight as the moon danced in and out … forest bathing, as we listened to the silence the trees and stream sang their gentle so gs … all the while the light breeze kissed our faces … inhaling the night’s end with a delicious bowl of homemade soup, gathered for chatter and laughter around a warm fire … embracing all the night has to offer ❤️🫶
