The Kingston Panthers Rugby Football Club was founded in 1967 with the mission to promote and encourage the sport of rugby in the Kingston area.We offer competitive and recreational play for both men and women, young and old with no experience necessary! The Scottie Memorial Scholarship

Scott had many things that made him “Scottie”. He was positive, empathetic, protective, confident, energetic and community oriented. When it came to his peers and sports, he wanted everyone to feel valued and included acknowledging them by cheering, fist bumps, or with his
signature smile showing respect.

In his memory, the Legg family has committed to a memorial scholarship in the amount of $500 to a member of the Kingston Panthers Rugby Club who has recently graduated from High School and will be pursuing post-secondary education.

In order to qualify, members must be currently registered and active within the Kingston Panthers Rugby Club, and heading to post-secondary education this fall.
Applicants must submit the following to [email protected]:

* Letter of recommendation (coach, minister or other member/volunteer within the Kingston Panthers RFC)
* Submit a paragraph about your rugby experience
* Confirmation of post-secondary acceptance

The due date to apply is June 30th, the recipient who is chosen will be announced soon after.

The month of June marks the beginning of Pride Season in Canada. To show our support and allyship with the 2SLGBTQI+ community in Canada, the Kingston Panthers Rugby Football Club continues to work to make rugby an inclusive and welcoming sport for all.
