⛳️ From the Beginning: The Story of Miquelon Hills Golf Course
Share those memories Photos WARM OUR HEARTS ❤️
📅 1975 — A Dream Takes Shape
Back in 1975, a beautiful hill-lined piece of land in Camrose County, Alberta was transformed into something special: a golf course designed for everyone from beginners to seasoned players. Today the course layout mixes a Par-27 front nine great for newcomers with a challenging Par-37 back nine full of narrow fairways and hidden greens that test even experienced golfers
🌲 Nature Meets the Game Nestled right next to Miquelon Lake Provincial Park — an area with lakes, trails, birds and prairie charm — the course wasn’t just built for golf, it was built to belong to the land. Players love it for its scenic views, rolling terrain, and wildlife sightings while they tee off.
👨👩👧 Built for Community
This isn’t just another golf course — it’s family-owned and community-grown. Through five decades, generations of local golf lovers have come here to learn the game, enjoy summer tournaments, and make lifelong memories. In 2025, golfers celebrated 50 years of Miquelon Hills being a friendly, welcoming place where stories are made one round at a time. 🏕️ More Than a Course
What makes it even more than golf? Seasonal RV camping and on-course events (from potlucks to tournaments) turn it into a summer destination where friends and families connect beyond the fairways.
