The Georgina Bulldogs 16U team has organized a fundraiser in support of Nate Borsellino and his family following the passing of Nate's mother, Taunia.

Nate has been a part of the Bulldogs family for many years, and we are asking our baseball community to come together and support him during this difficult time.

⚾️ Field of Dreams Baseball Camp is Coming to Georgina! ⚾️

We're excited to announce that Field of Dreams Baseball Camp will be operating in Georgina for the very first time this summer at The ROC!

Led by Jennifer, who many of our families know from the popular GMBA House League training clinics, Field of Dreams has been providing an outstanding baseball camp experience for 16 summers and has become one of Ontario's most trusted baseball camp programs.

This camp is about more than just baseball. Players will develop their skills, build confidence, learn teamwork, make new friends, and create lasting summer memories in a fun and supportive environment.

Reminder to always check the kiddos and use some type of repellent or essential oils!

Blacklegged ticks that can spread Lyme disease are active throughout York Region.

Follow these tips to protect yourself and your family when outdoors:

• Wear light-coloured long-sleeved shirts, closed-toed shoes and long pants tucked into your socks
• Use insect repellent with DEET or icaridin
• Check yourself, your children, and pets after being outdoors and remove any ticks promptly

If you find a tick, submit a picture of it to etick.ca for free identification services.

Welcome to the 2026 GMBA season! ⚾️

We didn’t get to kick things off the way we had hoped with Opening Day, but the weather is finally turning around and it’s looking beautiful out!

The diamonds are starting to dry up, although some fields are definitely in desperate need of a little TLC. Rest assured, we’ve been in constant communication with the township as we work through field conditions together.

Wet diamonds are the price we pay for starting the season two weeks earlier than normal — but we know it’ll all be worth it once the season gets rolling!

A quick reminder regarding pant exchanges:
Our team is doing our best to accommodate everyone, but please keep in mind that sizes are limited and availability may vary.

A few important things to remember this season:

🧴 Sunscreen
🦟 Bug spray

And remember… baseball season also means finding dirt in your car, sunflower seeds in your pockets, and somehow owning 47 water bottles by July 😂

⚾️ GMBA Opening Day Update ⚾️

Unfortunately, due to today’s weather conditions, all Opening Day games and activities have been cancelled.

Your team’s first game will now be your regularly scheduled game during the week. Coaches will be in contact with any additional updates.

We will do our best to reschedule today’s games at a later date if possible.

While we’re disappointed we can’t kick off the season together today, we’re looking forward to getting everyone back on the diamonds soon for another great GMBA season.

Please continue to monitor the SportsEngine app throughout the season for updates, schedules, and weather-related changes.

⚾ Opening Day Update ⚾

At this time, all scheduled games are still a go. We will continue monitoring the weather closely and provide updates through the day as needed.

Our usual Opening Day festivities will be without hotdogs, blow up castles and skills competition but at least we can attempt to see some beautiful games of Baseball!

👖 We will also still be holding our pant exchange for anyone needing a different size (sizes are limited).

Rain or shine, we’re excited to kick off another amazing GMBA season and make the best of the day together on the diamonds ⚾️🎉
