🏒💙 EVALUATION SCHEDULES ARE HERE, VALLEY WILD! 💙🏒

It’s almost go time! U11, U13 & U15 evaluation schedules are ready — find your division’s graphic and save those dates. 📅

📍 All evaluation sessions will take place at the Kings Mutual Century Centre in Berwick.

Players will be assigned to their evaluation group in GrayJay. Please check GrayJay before EVERY session — groups may be adjusted following each evaluation session, so your player’s group can change throughout the process. Players should attend only the session/group currently assigned to them in GrayJay.

We know evaluations can bring a few extra nerves — for players and parents. 😉 Come ready to work hard, be a great teammate and show us what you’ve got. 💙

Wondering about U9, U18 or Learn to Play? We haven’t forgotten about you! 🙌 We’re just waiting for a few final pieces of the ice schedules to fall into place. Start dates, times and program details will be coming soon.

The future of women’s hockey is incredibly exciting. Our girls are growing up watching women play professionally, fill arenas and show them just how far this game can take them.

But if we want a strong women’s game tomorrow, we have to keep building female hockey today — starting at the very beginning.

That’s where Valley Wild Learn to Play comes in. 💙

Designed for girls ages 4–14, Learn to Play is a fun, low-pressure introduction to hockey where beginners can learn to skate, build skills, make friends and gain confidence — all in an empowering female hockey environment.

⏱️ 1 hour per week
💙 12–14 sessions
💲 $330
✨ No full-season commitment

She doesn’t need hockey experience. She just needs somewhere to start.

Because before there’s a PWHL player, a university player, a Team Nova Scotia player — or simply a girl who loves hockey for life — there’s a little girl stepping onto the ice for the first time.

🏒PRE-EVALUATION SKATES ARE ALMOST HERE!

We’ve missed this. The cold rink. The sound of skates on fresh ice. Hockey bags by the door. And most of all, our Valley Wild girls on the ice together. 💙

Our U11, U13 & U15 players have two optional pre-evaluation skates coming up — a chance to find those hockey legs, get some puck touches, see some familiar faces and hopefully settle a few of those pre-evaluation jitters before evaluations begin.

These sessions are completely optional and attendance has no bearing on evaluations.

🦓💙 SEE HER. BE HER. — OFFICIALS EDITION!

Growing the female game means growing every part of the game — and that includes the next generation of girls wearing the stripes!

Did you know players can start their officiating journey at just 12 years old? It’s another way for our girls to learn the game, build confidence, take on leadership roles and stay involved in hockey.

Hockey Nova Scotia is hosting all-female officiating clinics next weekend in Dartmouth — Level 1 (ages 12+) & Level 2 (ages 15+ or two seasons at Level 1).

The more our young players see women and girls playing, coaching, officiating and leading, the more places they can see for themselves in this game. 💙

🔥🌭 TONIGHT AT BERWICK GALA DAYS! 💙🏒

If you’re heading to Rainforth Park tonight for the Foam Party, live music and Drone Show, come hungry! Valley Wild has the bbq fired up — and it’s all in support of Valley Wild Female Hockey! 💙

We’ll have hot dogs, sausages, chips, drinks AND glow sticks ready to go — because obviously the kids need glow sticks for the drone show. 😉✨

Backpacks packed, first-day photos snapped, lunches made and a whole lot of Valley Wild kids headed back through the school doors this morning!

We hope all of our players, siblings, parents, teachers and school staff have an AWESOME first day back. 💙

There’s always something exciting about the start of a new school year — new classrooms, new routines, new challenges and lots to look forward to.

And around here, back to school also means one very important thing…
