⚾ Weekend Recap | Harbourne Memorial Tournament ⚾

What a weekend of baseball!

The Cubs showed plenty of grit from start to finish, battling in every game.

Friday night, we took on the Southeast Diamondbacks and fought our way back to tie the game before coming up just one run short with a score of 6-5.

Saturday, we found ourselves trailing the Oxbow Chiefs 5-1 heading into the 6th inning. The boys refused to quit, rallying to tie it 5-5 before another hard-fought one-run loss.

On Sunday, the Cubs put it all together. Kruise Kish threw a complete game, the defense was outstanding, and the bats came alive in the fourth inning as we earned a 9-3 victory over the Moosomin Badgers. A special shoutout to Jack Easton for a great day at the plate and a rock-solid performance at first base.

This weekend showed exactly what this team is made of. Resilience, determination, and a never-quit attitude. We're proud of the way the boys competed every inning.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the trip to Estevan, cheered us on from the stands, or followed along from home. Your support means the world to our players and our organization.

The Kenosee Cubs open the Harbourne Memorial Tournament tonight as they take on the Southeast Diamondbacks in the first game of round robin play.

🐻⚾ PLAYOFF BASEBALL IS HERE! ⚾🐻

After an unforgettable walk-off win to punch their ticket to the postseason, the Kenosee Cubs are headed to Estevan this weekend for the Harbourne Memorial Tournament!

🔥 The Cubbies open the tournament Friday night at 6:30 PM at Mets Field against the Southeast Diamondbacks in their first round-robin matchup.

🐻⚾ CUBBIES ARE PLAYOFF BOUND! ⚾🐻

What. A. Game.

Two evenly matched teams. Six innings of back-and-forth baseball. Every run answered. Every inning mattered.

When the dust settled, it was the Kenosee Cubs who walked it off.

This one was the definition of a team win. Outstanding defense, timely hitting, and players stepping up in every situation kept the Cubs in the fight all night long.

📢 A special shoutout goes to Jesse Schill, who threw a complete game on the mound and then came through with a walk-off two-run double in the bottom of the 6th to punch the Cubs' ticket to the playoffs.

To everyone who packed Tropical Field and brought the energy THANK YOU. You made it a night to remember.

Our closest Race to the Base yet had everyone on the edge of their seats, and after weeks of near misses... Pink Shark finally broke through for the win! 🩷🦈🏆
