We did it!! Took 18 years but the dream finally became reality! I’m at a loss for words, the support and messages over the last couple days have been greatly appreciated !!

Going to keep this post short, but first a huge shoutout to my wife who is always so supportive of me being gone to fish these events, my parents who got me into fishing, and the volunteers, without them none of this is possible!

Always a highlight of her year for me being able to get down and chase smallies in Sioux narrows at bassin for bucks!! The volunteers feel like family and have seemingly watched me grow up, so many of them we’ve been able to see every year for the past 21 years!! This is truly special and we are very fortunate to have people like this that give so much back to the fishing community .

As for the derb we had another great weekend and ended up in 4th, way too many heart breakers in this one this for my liking but that’s the way it goes and drives the hunger to get better!

Already excited for next year, we were pretty lean on the photography this weekend so this sub par picture will have to do

Took some time after bronzeback to relax and regroup, it was just one of those derbies that wasn’t meant to be. We had some key missed fish in the net and weighed in a dead fish…

We had a very good practice and were very optimistic heading into it but fell short and it had us wanting more. Looking forward to the next derby here and chasing some redemption.

Big shout out to all that made the bronzeback possible it’s an awesome tournament that continues to grow the sport and provide opportunities for kids to get involved with competitive fishing!

I think this is the only photo we got from this past weekend, got pretty complacent on the photography, however, we had a good weekend and moved up one spot on the final day to finish 🥉

Congrats to the Neniska’s on the win!! And big thanks to everyone who made this possible, we always enjoy coming out !! Looking forward to next year

Battled the rain and wind to catch a few bass at the MBA Falcon Derb. The weather made for less then ideal conditions but we managed to grab 5 that were heavy enough for a 4th place finish. Huge props to everyone who showed up and shoutout to those who made this event possible

This bass put us 1 mm away from a DQ and a ticket but locked us in for the big bass prize which was this cool wood trophy! Bass weighed 4.01 for those interested
