Making Waves (and Memories) 🎣

Our 3rd Annual Take a Kid Ice Fishing event was one for the books, thanks to the incredible generosity of Dufresne Furniture & Appliances!

Working with Triple PLAY Kenora to support our local youth is a team effort, and we are so grateful to have the Dufresne team in our corner. Thank you for investing in our kids and our community!

What a weekend it was!

What an incredible Winter Weekend of Wonder! ❄️✨
A massive THANK YOU to our sponsor Ontario Power Generation, and our incredible community partners for making the weekend possible!
Together, we celebrated:
🎆 Friday Night: The Starr Blazers fire show, chili provided by the Kenora Rotary Club and a spectacular fireworks display
🤝 Saturday Community Day: A huge shoutout to our Community Partners who filled the day with local markets,wellness, a movie, snow sculptures and outdoor fun!
🏟️ Sunday Family Fun: From the brave souls at Garrow Park for the Polar Plunge, to the Take-A-Kid Ice Fishing Day at Rabbit Lake along with a packed free day at the Sportsplex, the chilly weather didn't stop the community from coming out! The Weekend Wind-up at the Rabbit Lake Winter Wonderland featuring the Super Skills obstacle course, snow machine sleigh rides, ice bikes and smores was the perfect finish!
