I’m a positive note, we’d like to thank all our riders, family, friends, riders and sponsors for a well attended race! We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding with the track conditions. We try our best to provide the best track possible, but sometimes don’t get it right. We are on only human and unfortunately can’t get things perfect everytime.
However, on another note, we’ve noticed at our past few races, the level of respect the riders have for our volunteers has been sad and disappointing to say the least. Some of our volunteers are working 20 plus hour days at the race trying to deliver the best track experience possible. These volunteers have taken time off work from their jobs and families. Without their sacrifice, there would be no races. If there is ever anything at the event that is of concern to you, we are happy to address the issue, but please do it in a constructive, respectable manner. In the pits, please be patient with volunteers or fellow racers. They DO NOT deserve to be honked at, sworn at, or treated rudely. This kind of action is unacceptable. Please remember that this is a family orientated sport. This kind of behaviour is an embarrassment to our kids, sport, sponsors, employers, and community. If these events continue to happen, people will be asked to leave and banned from our facility. No one wants to volunteer their time to these events or be treated this way. If it continues, will close as this is nothing we will tolerate or be a part of. Moving forwards, I hope we can all do better to treat others with the kindness they deserve. Please treat others the way you would like to be treated.
Sincerely,
Brett Konkin, TMP
