How resilient are you?

When you fail, do you let your failures define you? Or do you dust yourself off and get right back after it?

Success comes to those who fall and get right back up, but this takes effort and lots of practice.

We all fail at one time or another and thatโ€™s ok. What shouldnโ€™t be ok is staying down and complaining to the world why life isnโ€™t fair, or what disadvantages you have.

I invite you to remember this the next time life gets you down. (And it will)

I encourage you to get right back up and keep trying. Failure is our greatest teacher if we allow it.

My Fitness Struggled Hard Until I did THIS!

When I first became a , I had ZERO time to workout, even though I worked in a gym!

Sounds crazy, right? But I was super determined to be a great Dad and and was willing to sacrifice my workouts and meal prep to do it.

That is, until I started to see my fitness decline and my body transfer into a !

What??? I freaked! I was super disappointed because I was an outta shape .

I struggled hard for weeks because I didnโ€™t really have a plan or any .I was just doing random workouts and trying to eat healthy.

But it just wasnโ€™t working.

So I took the time to write down my vision for what I wanted to achieve.

I wrote down my . What I wanted and when I wanted it.

I wrote down my goals and even put them on sticky notes all over the place so I would have to see it and remember it.

This helped me stay in alignment with my actions on a daily basis.

I even had my wife, friends and fellow Trainers help keep me accountable.

This was what I was missing in order to reach my goals.

We all need some form of accountability in our lives. This will keep us in check when we need it because we all have times in our lives when we struggle to realize our goals and .

If you are working on your own goals and dreams, have someone hold you accountable to them and make sure you achieve everything you set your mind towards.

One of the things I learned that helps immensely when my world is out of control is I practice daily gratitude. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝโ €

Here are 3 Reasons on why I choose to practice daily gratitude. โ €

โ˜๐Ÿฝ It reminds me that the world is a very big place and that me and my problems are rather small in comparison. This gives perspective and shows that I can handle anything.โ €

โœŒ๐Ÿฝ It reminds me that so many other people in the world have it worse than me right now. Again, perspective.โ €

โ˜๐ŸฝโœŒ๐Ÿฝ Daily gratitude is crucial to practice because when I am habitually grateful, I keep perspective in the moment. And that ultimately means I donโ€™t blow situations out of proportion.โ €

Now I can maintain a grateful life and be bigger than my problems with just a few minutes of practicing gratitude daily.โ €
