Huge thank you to three players and their families that joined us in Balgonie last weekend. These players were not simply pick ups. They are wonderful people that joined the team seamlessly. They not only brought skill and talent but also positive energy, sportsmanship and effort. Thank you Kailey, Aubree and Kaida for the contributions you made to the team on and off the field.

What a week. The team finished seventh overall at Westerns, battling hard in every game, many that were close to the very end. We knew it would be our biggest challenge yet, as a second year B team facing the top A teams in western Canada, and the team showed up huge.

A moment that was bigger than wins and losses was the Head Umpire in Chief of Softball Saskatchewan sharing with the team that they are the kindest and most sportsmanlike group at the tournament, emphasizing that these qualities speak louder than the scoreboard. Many coaches of the teams we played shared the same sentiments. We are incredibly proud of this group of girls and their coaches.

Thank you , hosts White Butte Storm Fastpitch, organizers, officials and umpires for a fantastic tournament.
