We are a non-profit society dedicated to organizing, promoting and supporting the sport of ultimate in Kelowna, BC

The Kelowna Ultimate Players Society (KUPS) is a group of ultimate players in the regional district of Central Okanagan. Incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 2003, KUPS was created with the mission to promote, organize and support top quality, spirited Ultimate and to assist in any way possible the development of Ultimate and Ultimate players in the Kelowna Area. KUPS is organized by a group of 10 volunteers on the Board of Directors.

Thanks to everyone who came out to our KUPS End of Season BBQ and inaugural KanJambouree yesterday at Beasley Park in Lake Country!

Both events were a huge success, and we’re feeling all the love and community vibes after an awesome day together. A big thank-you to everyone who helped make it such a great way to celebrate the summer season! Thank you to OK Crush for running our BBQ.

A special shout-out to the 16 teams who competed in our inaugural KanJam tournament, featuring round-robin play followed by a double-elimination bracket. Congrats to our KanJambouree award winners:

🥈 2nd Place — “Boss Attack” — Ross Atwell & Zach Sill
👕 Best Dressed — “Kan’t Throw a Disc” — Jaxon Jurome & Jordy Eberts
👕 Best Dressed Runner-Up — “Crusty, Not Young” — Bruce & Cheryl Plaxton

We capped off the evening with a scrimmage under beautiful, clear skies during golden hour. Couldn’t ask for a better way to wrap up the day!

Get ready for a fast-paced 5v5 Ultimate Single Gender tournament this fall at South Kelowna Centennial Park & Elementary School!

Open + Women’s divisions
📅 October 3-4th, 2026
👥 8-player minimum | 10–12 recommended
🎮 6–7 games | 50-minute slots

Five Alive is all about more touches, faster play, spirit galore, and growing the sport. Single Gender divisions to encourage gender equity growth, and new & junior players encouraged to join!
