How we work (and workout) at Temenos Athletics π
Our goal is to help you build the physical and mental strength to take on life's challenges, both in and out of the gym - and we do that through our functional fitness classes.
Our classes are capped at 12 people. This ensures you get individualized feedback and elite coaching on functional movement and technique - keeping you safe, injury-free, and longevity-focused, while still getting that group fitness energy.
A typical Temenos class is 45-60 minutes and includes:
π₯ Warm Up (5-10 mins): Focused mobility and cardio to get your body primed and ready to move.
ποΈββοΈ Strength (15-20 mins): Focusing on a main compound lift (think deadlifts, bench, squats, or cleans) to build a powerful foundation.
π Metcon (12-20 mins): A high-intensity metabolic conditioning circuit. Expect a mix of running, rowing, skipping, farmer carries, and lifting designed to get you sweaty.
We are located on St. Paul Street, right off Clement in downtown Kelowna. We're right across from Central Kitchen + Bar and The Train Station Pub, down the street from Prospera Place, and just around the corner from Red Bird. Plenty of free street parking is available, and we have bike racks out front if you're riding in!
