Coming home to the Okanagan 💙💛
W🏐 is excited to announce the addition of transfer Devyn Hildebrand who comes back to the Okanagan to join the Heat after a year with the Manitoba Bisons.
Devyn is a 5-11 outside hitter from Vernon who attended Vernon SS and played her club volleyball with Sky and T2 volleyball clubs. She also represented Team BC in 2023.
“We are happy that Devyn is returning to the Okanagan and joining our program,” said Heat head coach Steve Manuel. “She is a hard worker, athletically gifted with strong attacking and passing abilities. I believe that Devyn with fit in nicely with the returning players as well as the incoming recruits.”
“I chose UBCO because of the strong culture, supportive coaching staff, and the opportunity it brings to grow as an athlete and person,” said Hildebrand on her decision to join the Heat. “I admire the competitive and supportive environment this program brings and I can’t wait to be a part of such a great team! Go Heat!”
While at UBCO, Devyn will study in the Bachelor of Arts program in Psychology.
