Final reminder for our Race of Truth Worlds Night tomorrow night(Aug 26th)! Come out and test yourself against the clock, then stick around for some refreshments after and podiums.
We'll start from Lock 22, just north of Trent University on River Road. It is a 15km out and back course and open to everyone, even if you only have a road bike. Riders will start at 1 minute intervals and the first rider leaves at 18:30.

Our biggest event on the trails is TOMORROW NIGHT. Join us at Harold Town Conservation Area for our Mountain Bike World Champs 🌈 Race, ride or cheer on your fellow PCC members testing themselves on the MTB.

Racing starts at 6:30pm. Drinks, snacks and podiums following the race around 7:30pm.

Our monthly time trial night rolls on TONIGHT @ 6:30pm. The TT will be starting from Lock 22, just north of Trent University on River Road.

This is a great tune up for our TT World Championships 🌈 on August Wed Aug 26th. It will be a 15km out and back course and open to everyone, even if you only have a road bike. We start at 1 minute intervals and the first rider leaves at 18:30. There will be post race podiums, prizes and food to be provided! 🏆

🌎 PCC MTB Worlds are back! 🏆
Join us on Wednesday August 19th for a fun evening of MTB racing at Harold Town Conservation Area

📅 Date: August 19, 2026
🚲 Check in and pre-ride of the course before the race: 5:30pm
⏰ Race Start: 6:30 PM

Course options:
• Championship Race: 3 laps
• Non-Championship Categories: 1 or 2 laps

*Course to be revealed closer to the event.

Come race against your fellow PCC members and test yourself or simply come out and support the riders. After the race , stick around for snacks, drinks, and great company. We will also crown our MTB world champs for 2026 🥇

Volunteer Opportunities Available. We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist with this Saturday's ComPassion Ride.

Would you be interested in contributing to the event's success?

Various roles are available, including registration support from 7:00-11:00, base camp coordination from 7:00-3:00, food service assistance from 12:30-3:30, and finish registration from 12:30-3:30. Please email [email protected] to express your interest.

We are also looking for a two person team that would be available for emergency pickup if required. The ride is not supported, this would only be an emergency backup. Will need vehicle with ability to carry at least two bikes.

Block your calendar for July 25th: Wild Rock Outfitters and the The Peterborough Cycling Club present the 2026 Peterborough ComPassion Ride!

Pick your distance, grab your crew, and get out on some of the best roads in the area while raising funds for the Wild Rock ComPassion Project. This is a 100% self-supported, team-based ride (2–8 riders), and every route ends with everyone coming together for great local food and a proper post-ride celebration.

The routes:
> 33km Beginner Cruise
> 55km Mixed Surface Explorer
> 110km Paved Century
> 175km Wayfinder Epic (with blind navigation: you only get the route in sections)

$10/rider to register.

Teams are encouraged to set a fundraising goal that matches their combined distance in km (so a team of 4 on the 100km aims for $400+).

Kieran's Commitment is $1 for every km ridden on the ComPassion Ride!

As a long time PCC member and founder of the Wild Rock ComPassion project this event is exactly the kind of thing that inspires me. The idea of the cycling community coming together in support of the greater community is just what I hoped for when we established the ComPassion Project. But then I realized that I had a conflict and would be on holiday (cycling, of course) on July 25th.

So, instead of riding I'm committing $1 to every km ridden at the event. That's my part. Your part is to build your teams, commit to big distances do some fundraising of your own. Together we'll make good things happen
