Located in the heart of the Kootenay Rockies of British Columbia and fed by a remote mountain lake and numerous glacial streams, the Lardeau River has plunging waterfalls and deep turquoise pools. Exciting Class 2+ rapids interspersed with smooth, fast
flowing reaches make this river perfect for all ages and abilities. The crystal waters of the Lardeau wind through the breathtaking scenery of Goat Range Provincial Park. This Inland Rainforest habitat is home to a variety of Rocky Mountain wildlife including woodland caribou, grizzly and black bear, wolves, cougar, bald eagles and elk. This wild and free-flowing river is also the spawning ground of the Kokanee, a landlocked salmon, and the endangered Gerrard trout, the largest Rainbow trout in the world! Running the river with us is an exhilarating and enjoyable way to access this unique environment without disturbing the wildlife or the ecosystem as a whole.
