For those of you who have never seen or paddled a 26' Voyageur canoe and would like an opportunity to try it,

On July 8th, 9th and 10th the Red Rogues, will be camping in Kaslo as part of a short paddle on Slocan Lake,

On the 9th of July at aprox. 2pm, weather permitting, they will offer a "people in boats" session to give local residents an opportunity to paddle with them. They will be starting from Kaslo Bay beach.

Please bring your own life jacket and paddle. They will have some of these, but not all sizes. Paddlers must be 12 years of age or older

The Red Rogues will paddle Kootenay lake from Lardeau to Creston starting on the 9th. If anyone has their own canoe or kayak and wish to join them for part of their paddle, please feel free to participate.... Val Koenig
