Deadman's Beach

Deadman's Beach Beach Volleyball Facility/Club/Social Enterprise It is a place to play, a place to train, and a place to enjoy all that beach volleyball has to offer.

Built in 2020, Deadman's Beach started as a beach court in some dude's backyard and has grown into so much more. It is known as the deepest sand in Ottawa, with a second court coming in 2024. A youth beach elite team, training camps for young and old, along with regularly run tournaments are all in the works for summer 2024. Also coming soon is an online store selling original Deadman's Beach gear

. Deadman's Beach is a social enterprise. All proceeds from clothing sales and all other activities go to support sponsored beach athletes.

Coach Derek had the amazing opportunity to support Chelsea Whiting and Kyla as they took on Beach Nationals in Toronto. Derek had the pleasure of coaching Chelsea earlier in the summer to help prep her for her time with Team O and for the U18 world Champs. And it was an honor to be asked to help support them at Nationals and getting to be a small part of their huge accomplishment - a National Silver medal at 17u!

Simply put, Chelsea and Kyla are ballers. These two have such a bright future on the beach and it is so exciting to think about what they will continue to accomplish! In their first full summer together, these 16u athletes won a provincial Bronze at 16u and a National silver at 17u! Oh, and they represented Canada at the U18 World Champs! These girls are not only amazingly talented athletes - they are hard-working and high character young women. Proud of you girls!

Another dominant performance at the July 12th OVA Gold event! Several podium sweeps and taking home the majority of the hardware available. and are proud to bring you a high performance youth beach clinic Saturday June 6th! The clinic will be led by NCAA D1 Beach athlete Alize, former team Canada beach athlete James, and Team Cameroon beach athlete Bruno!

This beach clinic is a great opportunity to get prepped.amd ready for the beach season while also supporting our beach national team! All profits from the clinic will be going to team Canad Beach!

$35 per athlete for a 2.5 hr clinic!
13-15u from 10am - 12:30pm
16u-18u from 1pm - 3:30pm
