In Riga, Latvia, cyclists rode through the city wearing full-size, car-shaped frames around their bicycles to demonstrate how much road space is used when a car carries just one person.

The 2014 action was organized by the cycling group Let’s Bike It during European Mobility Week. The lightweight frames were built roughly to the footprint of a car, turning a simple comparison into something impossible to miss.
