Nicole and Ellen co-led their first official KNBC ride with a mix of new and existing members. We had beautiful weather for this L1 ride between Ottawa and G*tineau. The start of the day was a bit of an adventure as the Hog’s Back parking lot was closed for a cycling event (who knew?), but the group pivoted at the last minute and met up at Mooney’s Bay. We’ll have to add “check for other events” to the tour leader checklist! Also unfortunately Ellen forgot the all-important task of taking photos with her group! Next time…

Another great Friday G*t ride! For those that cancelled - we beat the rain and - being in park with all the trees and all the shade - the heat was actually not too bad.

It was however an ice coffee day at Les Saisons 😀
