Well... these weren't part of the original plan.

A while back we created these limited quantity Sole Pursuit Running shirts for a project that never quite came to life.

They were simply too good to leave sitting in a box.

So we've decided to give them a second chance. Thanks to the support of Altra Running, Kamloops Ford Lincoln, Fix Auto Kamloops, and the great work from our friends at Terry Trophy's, a few lucky people are going to take one of these limited run shirts home.

You can't buy them.

We'll be giving them away only at our events, including Walk in the Park and Trick or Trail Night Run.

So if you've been waiting patiently for some Sole Pursuit Running merch, you'll have to join us in person for your chance to win.

Sometimes the best surprises are the ones you never planned.

Who knows... one of these shirts might be heading home with you.

As the days get hotter, let’s talk HYDRATION!!

Even mild dehydration can impact endurance, energy, focus on the trail, and recovery.

If you’re waiting until your run to hydrate (or until you feel thirst), you’re already playing catch- up. Aim for roughly half your body weight (in pounds) in ounces of water. Add 12 ounces for every 30 minutes of exercise.

Simple place to start: drink fluids consistently through the day and consider adding electrolytes on longer or sweatier training days. Don’t enjoy plain water? Try herbal teas, fruit-infused water, sugar-free drink mixes, or milk. Hydrating foods can also contribute a lot! Think vegetables (cucumbers, zucchini and melons are over 90% water!), soups, smoothies, yogurt, and cottage cheese.

Each Sunday leading up to Walk in the Park, Amanda will be sharing nutrition tips for runners!

We want you ready for Kamloops favorite trail race on September 6!

Let us know how your training is going! We want to hear from YOU!

You could sleep in this weekend...

Or you could start building the legs that carry you across the finish line at Walk in the Park.

Every hill you climb today makes race day hurt a little less.
Every trail run brings you one step closer to September 6.

Whether you're tackling the 8km, 14km, 25km, or taking on the legendary 50kmβ€”your future self is waiting.

This is your reminder:
The runners who love race day the most are the ones who show up today.

See you on the trails.

Yes... we know.

We've been talking about Walk in the Park a lot lately.

But there's another date we think should be on your calendar - October 24 πŸŽƒ
Our newest race, Trick or Trail Night Run, is creeping closer.

Imagine this...
You're running through the dark.
Your headlamp catches something in the trees...
Was that a person?
Or just a tree stump?
Could be monster?

Probably just our friendly candy ghouls...
Or maybe not. πŸ‘€

Along the way you'll find candy checkpoints, a few surprises we definitely can't tell you about, and a finish line costume party where surviving the course is only half the fun.

We're not promising you'll set a personal best.

We are promising you'll leave with a bunch of sweet treats and maybe a bit of fuel for nightmares...

Whether you're brave enough for the 15km or just looking for a ridiculously fun night on the trails with the 5km, we'd love to have you join us.

Walk in the Park might test your legs. Trick or Trail is coming for your imagination.

As runners ourselves, we know what most people want after crossing a finish line, and especially at Walk in the Park...

A welcoming high 5 from the GOAT.
A refreshing freezie.
And a chair. πŸ˜…

Now, this year, you can add a massage to that list.

We're excited to welcome Dimensional Muva – Physio, Massage & Wellness to the Walk in the Park family!

Jil and her team will be set up at the finish line, giving every runner and walker a complimentary 5-minute massage to help loosen up those hardworking legs. Whether you cruised the 8km or battled your way through all 50km, you've earned it.

So don't sprint to your car after you finish.

Hang out with us, chill with your freezie and celebrate with your fellow runners...and let Jil and her team work a little magic before you head home.

Welcome to the Walk in the Park family, Dimensional Muva!
