Thompson Rivers Interior Paddle Sports Club - TRIPS TRIPS is a canoe and kayak club based of of Pioneer Park in Kamloops, BC. We offer both recreational and competitive marathon racing programs.

Our club focuses on the traditions of North American canoeing with it's Indigenous and Canadian roots.

Ready to test your limits on the water? 🛶🌊
The 2026 1st Interior Distance River Marathon is happening August 29 or 30!

Whether you're a recreational paddler or looking for a high-intensity endurance assessment, all disciplines are welcome on the South Thompson River.

📍 Choose your distance:
🚣 Chase to Kamloops (~60km)
🚣 Pritchard to Kamloops (~40km)
🚣 Lafarge to Kamloops (~20km)

Registration isn't open yet, but they are looking for Expressions of Interest!

he Kamloops Long Distance & BC Marathon Provincial Qualifier at the Shumway Lake Water Sport Facility. Whether you're a seasoned marathoner or a junior athlete finding your stroke, this is the event of the season!
