The CGC, a family owned and operated Golf Course opened in 1967 by Angus and Mary Patton and is still owned and managed by the next generation of the Patton family, James, Carrie and Andrew. The Golf Course is a Parkland style property that is designed and maintained to be enjoyable by all caliber and level of player. lean grounds and wooded areas lend itself to a enjoyable pace of play. The most pleasing thing to the staff and management is seeing when patrons arrive with a smile and maintaining that smile right up until their day at the CGC comes to an end. The biggest and best comment or compliment ever given was, " it's nice to see that some people still do it properly". The staff and ownership at the CGC want all who come here to enjoy the Club and make it their place to get away from it all and be at home. If you've never been to the CGC, give yourself a treat and give us a try, 12 minutes from downtown Montreal off the Mercier bridge and Exit #44 off the Autoroute #30 on the south shore. Location and proximity to many points around the Island is unbeatable and when your here, you're in the the country.

Hello to all our wonderful members and patrons of the Caughnawaga Golf Club!

We would like to let everyone know that our spring work has begun, the greens are being uncovered and the course is being cleaned up from yet another winter. It is a bit early to give an exact opening date, but rest assured we can’t wait to start the 2026 season with all of you!

CGC becomes first Club to feature Tesla Golf Carts

Caughnawaga, April 1st, 2026

Already preparing for the CGC's 59th season, the Caughnawaga Golf Club is going hi-tech and introducing a new line of golf carts, created by Tesla, with a sleek new design with ease for all golfers of all levels.

“Everything on this cart is automatic! It self-drives, it chooses your favorite music based on your golf bag, it even features a GPS sensor in the car that will make a beeline to your ball after you hit it! God knows you have trouble finding it past 30 yards.” say CGC owner Jim Patton.

The carts, modeled after Tesla's popular Cyber Truck, is a new item for the CGC that will get people talking.

Though many people have laughed at the Cyber Truck for looking like a pyramid with wheels, or a refrigerator door, or from a N64 video game, but Patton believes these new carts will put a smile on people's faces in 2026.

“Every time I see a Cyber Truck, people smile, they point, lots of laughing. Those are all important for golfers!”

The 2026 Tesla carts do not, however come with turn signals.

Said Patton, “ever see a Tesla actually USE their turn signals?”

Good morning to all of our CGC members and Patrons!

Well, this is it! After a long and FANTASTIC 2025 golf season, we are now in our least week. If Mother Nature is on her best behavior, our last day of operations will be Sunday, October 26th. We still have some golf in us, so book those tee times if you want to have a superb walk in the fall atmosphere that the CGC is VERY well-known for!

If you haven't circled your calendars for the 1st of November for our annual Christmas Sale, it is not something yo should be doing. It is something you NEED to be doing!

Doors open at 9am on Saturday, so bring your hot coffee and your smiles, we will get you ready for our 2026 golf season!

Booklets and Gift Cards are on EVERYONE's Stocking List, so if we don't get to see you on the course this week, you CANNOT miss the Christmas Sale!

Hello to all of our CGC members and Patrons!

After a rain yesterday that our gorgeous course NEEDED, we are in full bloom, and our grounds crew is out each day with our Leaf Monster to make our track as player-firendly as possible for the end of our 2025 season!

Another IMPORTANT reminder that if you have any golf vouchers or active gift card with the CGC, they MUST be used before the end of this season!

Golf with your friends is still the Best Bang for your Buck at the CGC, so book that tee time as soon as possible, spaces fill up FAST (as you probably already know.

Good morning to our CGC members and Patrons!

We begin today with some bade news, but then some good news!

Bad news first: Today is the 1st day of Fall! Some of you have already seen a few leaves change colour, meaning we are in the last month of golf together.

Here is a LOT of Good News! We still have LOTS of golf to play on our great course. The greens have rarely been better and we can play an awful lot of golf in the next 5 weeks!

This Sunday, September 28th will the last day of the Driving Range for 2025. While our putting and chipping greens will still be available for our patrons, the range needs some healing time after a banner year! We have NEVER seen it this busy!

Check all of your golf bags, if you have any empty range bags, we ask that you being them back ASAP to get your deposit back. Yeah, you paid a deposit, so come and get it!!

Good morning to our CGC members and patrons!

So many happy golfers talking about the condition of the course and playing season best scores this week! Promises to be a great Fall at the CGC.

As.we head into the twilight of the season, things begin to wind down, and this weekend will be the last for our breakfast service.

Chef Kevin has given us countless great starts of the day with his chef work, and this Saturday and Sunday will be the chance to start your morning with us as TVs show the latest sports highlights and golf action!

Just follow the smell of bacon and hash browns, we will see you there!

CGC 2025-26 Christmas Sale

This year's CGC Christmas sale will be one day only on Saturday, November 1st.

The Pro Shop will be open from 9 am to 3 pm on this day only.

To help you get an early jump on your shopping list and for your 2026 golf season we will again be offering incredible specials to help make your golfing passion a bit more affordable. We at the CGC continue to strive to offer the best Golf when it comes to price and quality.

Here is a list of all our products that will be on sale at our Christmas Golf Extravaganza:

• 2026 Membership renewals will be available for $2,100 if paid in full on this special day only for a savings of $400. (Payment by cheque / Debit or cash only, our 2026 Membership price will be $2,500)

• Intermediate memberships available for $1,200 (regularly $1,400 in 2026) age must be under 29 years old on June 1st, 2024

• Junior membership sale price will be $300 ($400 in 2026) will also be available

New for 2026 Junior Members will now be permitted to play on
weekends and Holidays after 2PM

For New Memberships, Only Pre-approved membership applications will be accepted
(Payment options are, cash, Debit or Check)

• Our 10 game weekday loyalty books will once again be on sale for $450 (regular value is $580 for a savings of $130). This is an amazing offer!! ($10 surcharge per game for weekend / holiday play)
