Thank you so much to all the Jasperites, friends and customers reaching out with messages of support. The Bench Bike Shop family have connected on text and everyone is safely out of the affected area.
We are so grateful for the ongoing efforts of fire fighters still on scene tirelessly protecting our beautiful town.
Sadly, our little bike shop has been destroyed in the fire.
We are so uplifted by your kind messages and your words of support. We have had an amazing 6 years at The Bench. Fellow Jasperites, your words have absolutely warmed our hearts. To all of our customers from around the world, we are so happy to have had the chance to connect with you and share this amazing place with you. Your messages are so uplifting – thank you for thinking of us.
With so many unknowns ahead, we are staying in touch as a team – sharing stories and supporting each other. Everyone has been deeply affected by this disaster and there is so much comfort in staying connected despite being scattered all over the place.
We are hopeful that maybe one day, we can build an even better, even narrower (hehe) little bike shop in the heart of the Rockies.
