Our Score One For The Community fundraiser is back. This year, it is in support of our equipment renewal fund. This challenge is to all 36 teams across all six youth leagues. Every dollar donated is a goal. The team with the most goals wins a Pizza Lunch Party during our soccer tournament at the end of July. Donate now and thank you for your support.

Soccer begins at 8 a.m. and while it is cloudy, it shouldn't be rainy until the afternoon. Lots of time to play soccer.

Also today is the CHEO Chili Dog event at the Iroquois Plaza. After your game, go check it out. Just don't eat chili dogs before your soccer match though... don't ask me how I know this. – Phil

Adult Soccer - 5pm update - Due to a change in the weather, again, and the forecast for the next few hours — plus the already wet field conditions — soccer is cancelled for tonight.

Games from tonight will be rescheduled, hopefully, for later in the season.

Our latest Mariner Minute newsletter has dropped to SDUFC Summer League families. In it are two big announcements. The first, we're launching our Score One For The Community challenge for this summer, fundraising in support of our Equipment Renewal Fund. That opens June 19 and runs to July 4. The winning team will receive a pizza party during our soccer tournament in July. Second, we've opened our fall soccer registration, and there is a pretty sweet offer in their email for current Summer 2026 registered players. Check it out.

Tomorrow, June 13, is photo day. Instructions and information has been sent to all families via email/Teamlinkt App. All coaches received instructions, as have referees, on the modified schedules during your normal playing time. Players, please be early tomorrow. This is the only time/opportunity for team and individual photos for this summer season.

Also please note the parking lot on the west side of Seaway DHS is closed during this time to facilitate the safe movement of players from the soccer fields to the gym.

Saturday is soccer time, and before the questions start… yes, we play rain or shine. If it snowed, we would still play. So if it is raining when it is your soccer time, you should still play.

Games are only cancelled IF thunder and lightning are spotted at the time of the match, we postpone the game as per our rules.

So, parents bring an umbrella, and players, prepare to play soccer in the rain!
