France 🇫🇷struck early with a steal of three in the first end, but the Filipino duo of Arianna and Elijah responded in emphatic fashion… scoring four in the second end and adding a steal of three in the third to take a commanding 7–3 lead. 😱
France answered with a well-timed power play in the fourth end, converting it into three crucial points. 👏After the break, they capitalized on momentum with steals in the fifth and sixth ends to edge ahead, 9–7.
🙈 Undeterred, Team Philippines 🇵🇭used their power play in the seventh end to regain control, executing for a decisive three points and reclaiming the lead, 10–9. 🙌
In a tense 8th end, France needed two points for the win. With the Philippines at a disadvantage and facing two French counters, the Philippines called a timeout to strategize their last rock. Arianna delivered a precise final stone to sit one, forcing France into a difficult draw attempt, which they unfortunately missed. A steal of 1 and a W for the Filipinos. 👏✌🏽🔥🔥
