The AGM is an opportunity to hear about the past season, discuss plans for the future, and help shape the direction of our club. We encourage all current members to attend and take part in the conversation.

Like many community organizations, our club relies on a dedicated group of volunteers to keep things running smoothly. We're always looking to welcome new faces and fresh ideas, and there are volunteer opportunities to fit a variety of interests, skills, and schedules.

Curlers! Rec league night is still on, until the end of April. See you all at 7pm tonight. Feel free to drop in even if you don’t have a team.

Attention curlers:

We will be running 3-5 ice maintenance mini sessions throughout April. The intent is to increase the number of volunteers who can support our weekly programming (prepping the ice for Little Rocks, Juniors, and various league nights), as well as the ice installation for the upcoming 2026-27 curling season. This support is critical to the success of the club.

What does ice maintenance look like?

- For day-to-day programming, it is pebbling and nipping (typically requires you to be at the rink 30 minutes before programming). This can be done by 1 person.
- For more intensive maintenance, this is typically done monthly and involves a deep-scrape and possibly additional floods. This work is generally done in groups of 2-3.

We would welcome anyone interested in supporting (you do not necessarily need to be a curler).

Please contact [email protected] by next Tuesday, April 7, to express your interest and we will be in touch with additional details. The mini sessions will be roughly 1-2 hours, depending on the topic.

The curling club relies exclusively on volunteers, and we need more! We hope to hear from you!

📢Notice to guardians of Little Rock/Junior curlers 📢

Unfortunately, it appears the ice plant at the curling rink has broken. Players went in today to find that the ice had begun to melt. While we got that under control (thank you Mother Nature for the cold weather), it will be a few days before the plant is fixed and the ice is resurfaced for play. With that said, Little Rock and Junior programming will be cancelled tomorrow, Monday, February 2.

We apologize for any inconvenience with this change. Fingers crossed it's fixed soon!

Programming and leagues will resume next week (week of January 12) as the rink is undergoing ice maintenance in preparation for the men’s territorial competition this weekend.
