This week, we said goodbye to Michael Haynes, a friend of HTHF and a true hiking icon in Nova Scotia. His contributions to the hiking community have left a lasting mark across our province. He will be remembered with appreciation for inspiring others to explore our trails and for the stories he shared.

The 16th Annual CB Highlands 3 Peaks Challenge event will take place Saturday, June 13th. This year we move over to the Cheticamp side of the National Park. Teams of four will hike 3 mountains in one day. They include Squirrel Mountain, 2) Roberts Mountain and 3) Acadian. More information coming soon on registration details and on the three mountains.
