Hello Zavitz Swim School Family,
We would like to send out a huge thank you to all of our Zavitz Swim School students and parents. Over the last 14 years we have been very lucky to serve our amazing community through teaching the life skill of SWIMMING, through the Canadian Red Cross.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of Zavitz Swim School. This was a very tough decision.
Tori and I have moved out and started our careers. I am continuing to pursue my love of teaching. I have become a high school teacher and will be furthering my education over the summers. Tori is a full time lawyer and a first time mom. Recently, The Red Cross announced that it will be discontinuing its swim and lifeguarding training programs. The timing seemed right.
We were very fortunate to have had this business growing up. It shaped us into the individuals we are today and we are thankful for that. Our goal for Zavitz Swim School has always been to educate kids on water safety and teach them life-saving swimming skills. This is something we truly value and think every child should have the opportunity to learn. We are very grateful that we were able to help so many families and teach hundreds of children how to swim.
We are grateful for every single student that has come to us to learn how to swim and their parents, grandparent, aunts, uncles and friends who came to watch. We will truly miss seeing all those happy faces in our backyard. Thank you for so many wonderful memories!
