At Zavitz Swim School we offer backyard swimming lessons based on the Red Cross Preschool and Swim Kids programs. We have been teaching children the importance of water safety and swimming since 2009, while making every second as enjoyable as possible! vanced progression technique. Skills are broken down into small, simple steps and introduced with an element of fun. We offer our swimming lessons in a heated salt water pool, which is gentle on sensitive skin and great for children learning to open their eyes under water. For those of you who don't know us, we have been teaching swimming lessons for over 9 years to hundreds of children. The instructor this year is Kenzie Zavitz. Kenzie is finishing her 4-year Honours degree in Kinesiology at Western University. She has been teaching swimming lessons for 6 years. As well as her experience teaching backyard swimming lessons, she has lifeguarded and taught swimming lessons at the Stoney Creek YMCA and for the recreation department in Strathroy at the town pool. Each year approximately 520 Canadians die in water related accidents.
