This past weekend was certainly an eventful one. We had a crafting day on the Saturday which helped us to prepare for our vist to on sunday where we set up a historical display of a raiders camp along with a staged raid on the camp. Afterwards we demonstrated our fighting skills and weapons as well as fielded any questions that were asked about the viking age.

This weekend we held our second annual spring trainer. We had Five different hafns in attendance. We hiked in full combat kit to our location and trained hard with duels, bridge fights and wargames. All topped off with a drengr test and kappi fight. After the training we came back to the Nordheim encampment for a feast, games, fire and a god pole raising ceremony. Thank you to all who attended from , , , .hafn.flint and from Nordheim. Congratulations to all the new drengr of markland and to our reigning kappi. Our sheild unites us.

Last night we had the not only the honour of being at the Amonkolk tour in toronto. But we alongside our brothers and sisters from .hafn.flint had the privilege of being apart of the show for a few songs. It was truly a great experience. Thank you to everyone for making this possibleand for the opportunity.

This time of the year is meant for giving and we decided to give back to our communities. So this year for our Gefa project. Some of our members bought and donated food and supplies to The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation in huntsville. While our other members donated food and supplies to their local food banks. Together we are strong, our shield unites us and our communities.

This past weekend we had our yule gathering and training where we fought and feasted together. It was a lovely time hosted by our Merkismathr Ulfsteinn. We hope that everyone has a happy holiday.

Please join me in congratulating our new drengr Morthi, Styrsvienn, and Esny on passing their drengr test this past weekend. You all performed valiantly. Along with passing the drengr test Styrsvienn has also earned the title of Kappi of Nordheim. Great work folks.

This past weekend we hosted a markland drengr test and spring training which included ourselves along with members from , , and We had 4 aspiring drengr who were able to take the test 3 of which were from our hafn. Our training consisted of a hike in tonour training spot, a mix of lettr and hrathr style fights and wargames. At the end of the testing and training all 4 aspiring drengr passed the test. To congratulate the new drengr we concluded our day with a feast and bonfire at our encampment.
