I trained for 7 years back in the 90s. Since returning to training in 2023, I’ve realized just how much things have changed. Back then, we followed strict diets: 6 days of chicken breast, egg whites, rice, broccoli… and on the 7th day, it was the famous Chinese buffet — our version of a ‘reset’. No tracking, just discipline and the same meals week after week. Today, the approach is much more diverse. We adjust in real time with technology, track our macros, and everything is so much easier. But sometimes, I get a little nostalgic for that old-school simplicity.

a distinct marketing angle.

It primarily targets emotional response tied to sexuality. Physical appeal becomes a powerful lever to capture attention and drive purchasing decisions. By selling an image, a dream, a transformation, or a desire, a consumer mechanism is triggered. This same principle is used to sell products. It’s a strong marketing tool, still underused in the fitness industry.

That’s the real question. And also: how can we harness the impulse, while channeling that energy to sell, export, or promote other products — such as supplements or pharmaceuticals?

fitness women, such as those active aging, could use this image to help sell more natural or pharmaceutical products, which are often presented in a dull and overly clinical way….🧐
