ππ₯ βTwas the Night Before Provincials in Chapels Cove π₯π
βTwas the night before provincials, and all through the Cove, not a softball was flying, not even a glove.
The jerseys were hung by the dugout with care, in hopes that tomorrow, the crowds would be there.
The players were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of home runs danced in their heads.
Coaches with lineups, their minds all aglow,
dreamed of big moments the games would soon show.
β¨ The moon lit the infield, the chalk lines so white, set the stage for the battles to come in daylight.
With canteen lights glowing and burgers on grill, CBC spirit was buzzingβso strong, so real!
Then parents all shouted, each calling a name:
π₯ βGo, Arabella! Go, Amelia! Go, Katie so fleet!
π₯ On, Madison! On, Abbi! On, Khloeβbring the heat!
π₯ Go, Willow! Go, Abby! Go, Jessica too!
π₯ On, Isabella! Madelynβweβre counting on you!β
And leading the charge, with steady belief,
were the coaches Jeremy and Jerry, our chiefs. With clipboards in hand, strategies clever, and by their side, our Manager, Jennifer. π
So tomorrow it starts, our girls take the swing, with laughter and spirit, the joy that they bring.
π In Chapels Cove, where our ball hearts belong, weβll cheer loud and proud, with voices so strong.
βοΈ Good luck to our CBC girls as provincials igniteβ fight hard, play proud, and shine bright tonight! βοΈ
