Vet Science members, here is a chance for more hands-on learning!

Ready for a hands-on introduction to veterinary medicine? 🐴🐄

Olds College’s Exploring Veterinary Medicine: Large Animals is a four-day camp for teens ages 13 to 17 who want to learn what it’s really like to care for large animals and explore a future in veterinary medicine. Participants will get practical, interactive experience focused on horses, cattle, and other large animals while building a better understanding of animal handling and care.

The camp runs Aug. 17-20, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A fun and easygoing show to enjoy, put on by some great past 4-H families and big 4-H supporters! 🐑 Register those female projects!

Aug. 8, 2026 at the Lyster farm north of Halkirk! The Badlands Junior Sheep Show invites you to get your entries in to Erika, text to 403-740-9266 or email to [email protected]. Classes are Yearling Ewe, Ewe Lamb, and Showmanship. Let Erika know the kids' names, ages, and the classes they are entering.
