We made it! Completed our last and 4th week of Summer Camp at the USRC, and all the kids had so much fun! We even had a few tears and sad faces on the last day from the kids knowing it was the last day.

Special thank you to our Youth Leaders throughout the summer that helped out with these camps: Alia, Emma, Inara, Peyton, Serena, Ethan, and Autumn. They were great role models for the kids, and the kids enjoyed spending time with them.

Hope to see you next summer of 2027 for our next camps!

Good afternoon Northwest. We would like to offer 2 Youth Volleyball camps in the North West with coaches for the UBCO Heat/ Pro Beach Volleyball and Team BC coaches Ty and Ren Baskin. These camps will be full days of instruction from 9:30 am to 5:00 PM each day, starting in Thornhill hosted by Gitlaxdax Nisga’a Terrace Society on August 13th and 14th, the second camp hosted by Wila Dildilsdi’m at the Upper Skeena Rec Center August 15th and 16th. All youth are welcomed and can attend both locations. Coaches are also encouraged to attend and take part and add to your coaching skills.

Week 3 of Summer Camp at the USRC complete! We had a Jungle Theme this week, where we played lots of jungle games, did jungle crafts, had a jungle obstacle course, went roller skating, daily walks, had a Water Splash Day on Thursday, and finished our Friday with Movies and Popcorn!
We have one more week of Summer Camp left! Summer Camp Week 4 is our Elements Theme of Fire, Earth, Water, and Air! August 17th-21st! Register now by stopping by the USRC or emailing [email protected]

Week 2 of Summer camp is now finished! We had Dogs vs. Cats Week, and made tons of dog and cat crafts, did some dog and cat games, played in the gym, went roller blading, had a dog and cat obstacle course, did daily outdoor walks, and also had a water fun day with water balloons, water guns and sprinklers! Finished off the week with a movie afternoon and popcorn!

Week 3 of Summer Camp is Jungle theme, and will be from August 4-7! Email Shanlee at [email protected] or stop by the front desk of the USRC to get registered!

And that’s a wrap up on our Summer Camp Week 1! Our Under The Sea & Pirates theme included making jellyfish hats, pirate hats, a treasure hunt, an under the sea obstacle course, daily walks, roller skating, under the sea and pirate dancing, and making an under the sea mural! Our kids sure had lots of fun!

Our Summer Camp Week 2 is July 20th-24th and our theme will be Dogs Vs. Cats! Register now at the front desk of the USRC, or email Shanlee at [email protected]

School is almost out and Summer is just around the corner! That means it's time for our USRC Summer Camps! 🌞

Despite the major setback of our missing equipment to run our 2026 Slow Pitch League successfully, day 2 of our league is still on! First game starts this evening at 6:00PM, second game starts at 7:30PM!

We have been rallying to get any new equipment we can with helpful donations & vouchers, and picking up any other donations to get the important safety gear and equipment to run the games.

We appreciate all the help and concern in regards to this situation. Above that, we are beyond grateful for any donations and offers being poured out to help keep the league going! Without the love and support from the community, we would not have this league!

Come on out and support some awesome players and watch some awesome games! 🥎

We are saddened to find our baseball locker had been broken into and everything has been stolen.

Helmets, face masks, baseball gloves, bats, balls, score books, jerseys, pitcher and back catchers pads, bases…

If you hear or see of any baseball stuff laying around or being sold please let us know! It took a long time to build up our collection of equipment to bring back slow pitch for the community.
