Spots in this community engagement session in Kamloops on Saturday, September 26th are limited so please register as soon as possible to secure your seat. As it's our first time coming to Kamloops, we will present some information on Wila Dildilsdi'm, share a meal and continue our discussions while painting with Michelle Stoney, Gitxsan Artist. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Tea Creek for their generous donation and continued support of our community. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

Tea Creek has generously donated potatoes for community distribution, and pickup is available now at the 'Ksan Campground Office. We encourage everyone who would like some potatoes to come by as soon as possible, as supplies are limited and expected to go quickly.
Bring a bag, box, or container to take your potatoes home. We are grateful to Tea Creek for their ongoing commitment to our community.

We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend at our Gitxsan Cultural Days! We have a packed weekend planned with great weather, great dance and drum groups from all over and our vendors booths are booked. We hope to have the Hereditary Chiefs come and join us in the Grand Entry starting at noon.

We will be hosting a salmon barbecue tonight to start off the weekend. The dinner starts at 5 pm at the 'Ksan Campground. Tomorrow night we look forward to a jamming session by the Waymore Outlaws. We have quite a few who have joined the Fry Bread competition which is tomorrow at 2 pm.

Please note the parade start time will be 11:30 am sharp leaving from the Gitanmaax Hall.

Community Reminder: Annual General Meeting

A reminder to all eligible Gitanmaax Band members that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on:

Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2026
Time: Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
Location: Gitanmaax Hall

During the meeting, members will have the opportunity to review the 2024-2025 Audited Financial Statements, hear the Auditor's Report and presentation of audit findings, ask questions, and participate in discussions regarding the audit. Other AGM business will also be conducted in accordance with Band governance requirements.
