Mae Meadows is a quiet family farm of horses and the people who love them, located in the hills of Oro Medonte, Ontario.

Every horse here is known as an individual — their habits, their quirks, their own way of saying hello. Our stalls are fully ventilated and temperature-controlled, and routines are customized to each horse. We take pride in our paddocks and manage them carefully to ensure quality nutrition, with ample pasture to allow for proper rotation and field management. We're glad to be part of this communit

Lisa has been an animal lover since birth and a horse advocate for as long as she can remember. She's spent time working in a barn since she was 8 years old, and now brings 10 years of professional barn management experience to Mae Meadows. Her days are spent making sure every horse is happy, healthy, and a little bit spoiled — and she loves helping others understand just how smart, funny, and full of personality horses really are.

📍 Between Barrie & Orillia, ON

Mae Meadows Equestrian is looking for a reliable, experienced person to join our small team on a part-time/casual basis.

We are looking for someone for approximately 5 hours on weekends, with the possibility of additional fill-in hours during the week.

The ideal candidate is mature, independent, hardworking, and genuinely enjoys caring for horses and helping to keep a beautiful facility running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced: Ideally 5+ years of hands-on horse experience, with confident and safe horse-handling skills

• Reliable: Someone we can count on to show up, follow through, and put the horses first

• Independent: A hardworking self-starter who can recognize what needs to be done and complete tasks without constant direction

• Detail-Oriented: Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized barn and providing excellent horse care

• Experience with tractor operation, landscaping, and general property maintenance is a definite asset

What We Offer:
