As summer approaches, we just wanted to kindly remind everyone that proper indoor gym shoes are required while training at Non Oblitus Gym. 👟
To help keep our facility clean, safe, and comfortable for all members, outdoor shoes, boots/work boots, Crocs, sandals, and open-toe footwear are not permitted on the gym floor.
We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation as we continue doing our best to maintain a clean training environment for the entire community. Thank you for helping us take care of the space together.

As many of you know, my name’s Leah. 🖤

I’m one of the faces and leaders here at Non Oblitus Gym. I manage the gym, but I’m also the main yoga instructor and wanted to let everyone get to know me more as a yoga teacher.

I currently offer Vinyasa Flow classes, Yin/Restorative classes, and an Introduction to Yoga class.

Below is a little bio about my yoga journey written in my own words. 💛☺️✨

“My yoga journey began when I was 21 years old. At the time, I knew absolutely nothing about yoga. I was invited to try a hot yoga class and decided to step outside of my comfort zone and experience something new. Having always been an athletic and active person, I originally viewed yoga as simply another form of exercise but it quickly became much more than that.

Yoga connected me to my body and breath in a way I had never experienced before. It became a missing piece that supported not only my physical health, but also my overall well being and mental health. Over the years, yoga has played a major role in supporting how I manage stress. Yoga taught me how to breathe properly and how to use breath to move through challenges.

After 15 years of personal practice and learning, I decided to deepen my knowledge and become a yoga teacher so I could help others connect to yoga in the same way that I did. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification, along with advanced studies and additional certifications in Yin and Restorative Yoga.

Yin and Restorative Yoga were originally styles I never imagined would resonate with my fast paced and active lifestyle yet they became the practices that helped me the most. Restorative yoga taught me how to slow down, manage stress, quiet the constant noise of the world, and soften into stillness. Yin yoga helped me focus on areas of the body that I often neglected. Yin helped me take the time to care for my ligaments, joints, fascia, and deeper connective tissues where my mobility and circulation became limited.

I am currently continuing my education with Aerial Yoga to deepen my knowledge and offer more classes to students. This teaching journey is a new chapter for me. I will always be a student myself continuing to learn, grow, and evolve alongside the students in my classes.”

Today we’d like to introduce you to another one of our coaches, Kimberlea.

Kimberlea brings an inspiring mix of positivity, strength, and holistic wellness to the Non Oblitus team. Her passion for helping others grow both physically and mentally, shines through in the way she coaches and connects with clients.

From one on one coaching to her WakeUp Call group fitness classes, Kimberlea is dedicated to helping people challenge themselves and discover what they’re capable of at any age.

Here’s her bio, written in her own words so you can get to know her better.

“I have a passion for connecting with and motivating my clients to push themselves past what they think is possible. You are limitless! Having a positive mindset is key to growth on a physical and mental level and I strive to create a safe space and fun environment for you to find that strength within. My background in wellness/life coaching, massage therapy, and acupuncture has inspired and deepened my love of holistic health. Together, let’s discover your most authentic and joyful expression of health and wellness!

I have a Personal Training certification with Onsite Fitness and a Holistic Wellness (Life) Coaching certification with the International Association of Wellness Professionals. I am currently working on my diploma in Five Element Acupressure, recognized by the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada Association.

Find me at Non Oblitus Gym for one-on-one coaching and WakeUp Call!, a weight-based, functional training group fitness class. I am excited to partner with you to create a lifestyle that focuses on movement and mindset, and challenges what you think you can do - at any age! I became a personal trainer at 50 and competed in two body building competitions at 51, ultimately placing 4th in the Masters 35+ category at the national level. You can build muscle and become stronger at any age and I would be honoured to work with you!”

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon, one of the coaches here at Non Oblitus Gym.

Brandon has been a great part of our trainer team through his consistency, professionalism, strong work ethic, and dedication to helping clients work toward their goals. He brings a lot of passion and discipline into his training and coaching style, and we’re happy to have him as part of the team.

Below is Brandon’s biography, written in his own words so you can learn more about his background, experience, and approach to training.

“I’ve always been driven by performance and pushing my limits, which led me to discover a passion for CrossFit just before college. After that, I went on to study in border security, but my focus quickly shifted toward training and competition. I competed in several CrossFit competitions, winning many of them, while also getting involved in races and HYROX events through consistent, high-level training.

Over the past three years, I’ve trained more than 200 clients, helping people reach new levels of strength, endurance, and physique. Today, I specialize in hybrid training, bodybuilding, and fat loss, combining effective training methods with performance-based nutrition to deliver real, lasting results.”
