To all of our members, community, friends and family.
It is with sad, heavy heart that I regret to inform you that after 3 years of being in business, Flowater Martial Arts will be closing it's doors as of December 1st 2022.
This was definitely not an easy decision to make and I have tried all I could to keep the academy open. However, the impact that covid19 had on the business has taken over the last few months and has left me with no other choice but to close the academy so that I can concentrate on my future.
I still move on knowing that I have helped a lot of people and the community. We have been the first martial arts academy giving Hawkesbury a real home and teaching Brazilian Jiujitsu bringing some of the best BJJ and the first ever 3 to 6 years old martial arts program!
I want to thank each and everyone of you for being a part of our truly amazing and unique experience and journey. This cannot be recreated.
I also want to thank you for allowing to have the privilege to be your instructor, training partner and most importantly, , your friend.
Everything Flowater Martial Arts stood for was because of you and the heaviness and pain I feel thinking about it has all come to an ends is breaking my heart and hard.
Thank you for Ely Camejo and Fernando Zulick 'Gr**go' for the support and letting us in their family. Thank you to Raymond Loiselle for all the help. Thank you to Josée Loiselle for helping and dedicating her time to the gym. Thank you to my beautiful and patient girlfriend Ca Mille for the support during those hard times.
Thank you to our landlord Mr. Assaly for his understanding and help. I'm sure i'm forgetting some people and it's not on purpose. I am thinking about you also.
Again, truly sorry it has come to this. I wish all of you the best of luck in the future. I hope to cross paths again on the mats.
Please stay safe, take care and thank you so much for all the support for all those years. I have nothing but beautiful memories of you and your kids.
Steve
